A tip for anyone with MIUI , you can remove bloatware that are system apps using adb. No root required. Although flashing a custom rom would be better. If you are even a bit techy , I would suggest learning about custom roms and flash it . Worth it. The best one I would say for daily driving if you need Netflix in HD, use Arrow OS. If not , Pixel Experience is great too.

i agree with you about updates I'm a Poco F1 user and the update situation is probably the worst, its fricking frustrating, it forces users to move to custom roms but since nowadays we use a lot of banking apps so not everyone will want to flash a custom rom also I didn't paid my money for using custom roms 😅

Finally someone who mentioned the Battery stats issue on miui 12, it resets battery stats after 12 or 24hours... That's annoying

If you want any particular app to stay in memory then disable MIUI power saver feature fr that app. It will run in the background. Also disable clear cache under battery settings to allow apps to stay in memory.
