When I lived in China, many fake were terrible. Some were close to indistinguishable from the original. About 5 years ago, a friend told me he not an s7 for about 150 dollars. I borrowed it and checked numerous tells to find out if it was a fake. Almost all the internals were the same as the original. The only tells were that it was slightly heavier than it should be, the price and the font on one of the settings.

If wish just sold them as no brand smartphones and not clones I might even buy one as a backup. Though in the UK I’ve never had something not arrive from Wish from the couple of times I bought something. Seems it’s the US/Canada that has issues due to customs being stricter.

Haha! Those powerbank capacitys are hillarius! But I have got 2 that worked quite well. One with a solar panel and dual usb for charging and one with wireless charging + a single usb. And the last one also had both micro and usb C for charging it. For the small price it works just fine. And I also got some ear buds that was pretty good for around 8 USD. But the next ones I got for a friend was crap so.. I was lucky I guess🤷‍♂️😅

there's a few of them, that at 30 bucks, as long as they will hook up to a service you gotta be amazed at what they manage to cram in there. Considering what other smartphone makers claim is the cost for some of these 'features', if it's 30 bucks, looks even remotely like a 600 dollar phone, and actually functions at all, it's kind of impressive. Of course, you didn't go that deep into any of them. Wonder which ones work.

unpopular opinion, but I like bixby, it's pretty much just the scroll down feature, which is great when I'm baking and want to see more of my recipe, and dont want to get stuff all over my phone.

There are actual brands that produce budget phones without trying to copy or emulate others. I've got a TP-Link brand phone for my mom last year. Very cheap but surprisingly good.

It really doesn't. "Real" phones have development budgets that have to be paid for, so the ratio of their manufacturing cost to final price is negligible. You're paying for the R&D. These are base components and stolen software, maybe faked software on a surface level. That's particularly true for camera technology. And he didn't go into all the BS about the Wish phones' storage or connectivity speed. Those were probably advertising 4GLTE or 5G, and actually 3G. The newest thousand dollar phones are overpriced in a sense - it's really the early adopter price tag - but all the "real" phone makers have $200 models that are a far, far better value than anything here.

Some of these phones literally have a debug menu where you can change the rated storage capacity. You also have to remember that you're likely getting a much slower processor inside of them and god knows what else is hidden in the software. They also may not be Google certified so you run the risk of the Google apps breaking randomly.

Max Alvarez just get them a cheap budget phone like the Samsung A01 or the Redmi 8a. Not worth buying a fake Chinese phone.

"Refurbished" means that it was broken and returned to the OEM, and they repaired it and think they did enough of a good job to be able to re-sell it. Normally, good quality refurbished electronics sell for about 60-80% of the original cost, but it's definitely something you could put on a wish listing to make it *seem* like it might be legit

The Speaker looks and Sounds like a JBL Charge series Speaker. They give off the vibe of 360 surround sound but it's only in the front of it. The original ones have really good sound and good bass. And really good at charging your phone. I use mine as a back up Battery bank on a full charge and full use on the daily (about 2 hours each day) it can last me about a week without using the charging abilities using it lasts me around 3 or 4 days. Really good Speaker
