I was trying to find a phone 2 months ago and so your vid and had decided to buy Poco f3 or realme gt 12 gb ram and went for realme gt 12 gt..the one with the leather on the back and is working amazing. Took a while to get use with the UI, I used an xiomi note 5 pro for 2 years, but I am satisfied by realme gt 12 gb

For me, it's all about price. I've just bought the Poco F3 for £238. The cheapest price for the Neo GT 2, here in the UK is a whopping £460!!! It's no contest really. The F3 is the winner by a country mile!

I think the last comparison with Poco F3 should be with its successor (if that will be Poco F4).

To be honest, Realme did a good job here that they bring what Poco F3 didn't have. Realme GT Neo 2 thermal is more better because of their new Vapor Chamber technology, where Poco F3 is still using their LiquidCool 1.0 Plus technology which an upgraded technology from Pocophone F1. And for the camera, Realme did an excellent job here by putting bigger camera sensor than Poco F3. For the gaming experience and battery management, Poco F3 kinda bit down here because of the latest software, but we will see when MIUI 13 comes. But hands down, Realme are great in this comparison

For me, POCO F3 is undisputably the winner because of pricing, especially considering how easily u can get it for a huge discount, which widens the price gap (1,499 vs 2,099 with extra RAM)

Realme is obviously better on almost every aspect but Poco F3 is still cheaper and the difference is not that significant. For me Poco is still better because of its price. I think the realme Gt neo 2 is much more comparable to Mi 11T pro

Great review. I had owned both phones and between the 2 this is my opinion. For me the F3 had poorer antennae and speakerphone performance. For me, the camera performance overall on the GT Neo 2 was much better and more immediately instaworthy. The faster charging on the GT Neo 2 is boon too.

GT Neo 2 came out 7 months later, You would have been having the best budget tech for 7 months, so which is a better deal?

For me still Poco f3 for the price here in the Philippines P13,990 (272usd) on sale, bigger screen, ip52~53 rating,i used more often selfie rearly use back camera may juz little tweaks on it will be fine. Realme gt neo 2 price P16,199(316usd) base variant. u can get highest variant on poco f3 on that price.nobody talk how amazing smallest punch hole on poco f3 performs better.

They have the same punch hole with my Blackshark 4 that's why I love my phone now :D. Poco F3 is still a beast though. Cheap, quality and premium design.

The Poco F3 's GCam is comparable to the Realme GT Neo 2 in terms of non zoom. The colors depends on the display you set for vibrant or saturated. Default is vivid. Its cheaper and larger than Realme. Similar because both are manufactured by BBK. Still I vote for Poco F3. You can put a poll on this.

Something that takes reasonable photographs and performs as well as possible. My budget is €350, preferably Xiaomi unless some other brand makes a difference. What do you advise me? Thanks

This video is also a year old but I still enjoy watching these because I think these phones are still viable options in 2023 as opposed to the newer devices that are coming out for the same price (300-400€) I wanted to do the same points comparison table as I did in the video where you compared the F3 to the 11T, with the 11T winning for me. But I cannot really do it this time because the phones draw in half the categories. That being the Audio (both sound the same to me), Performance (both have the same SoC), price (both cost about the same here) And especially softare (Both phones having android 13 as their last version, no longer receiving feature updates and security update support ending for both phones this year. Neither of them have an AER certification either, therefore unable to be enrolled as business devices.) So where do they differ? The Poco F3 wins on design(2pts), and display(2pts) while the GT 2 Neo wins on Camera(3pts) and Battery(2pts) making the GT Neo 2 the overall winner. One could argue over display and camera being draws as well but HDR support on the F3 made it win the display, whereas the GT Neo 2 absolutely massacred the F3 in rear camera performance, while only being slightly worse in terms of selfie cam, so the Neo 2 was the better phone to me in that regard. Loved the review as always, I can't wait for you to get 100.000 subscribers!

For gaming purpose, realme is better than poco in term of battery draining and cooling system. Realme GT neo2 for Gaming.

I was comparing quality of photos between MI 11, Poco F3 and GT Neo 2 as per GSMARENA test pictures and to be honest F3 looked better in most cases than GT NEO 2. GT Neo 2 may had look better overall but i didn't really like more grainy picture and like halo shadows on objects edges. F3 also have 960 fps 1080p slow motion, is water resistant, have IR blaster, which is not case for Neo. Moreover at the time there was big issue with fast draining battery after sw update on GT Neo 2. I got Mi 11 for myself and 256GB F3 for wife 120EUR cheaper than GT Neo 2 at the time.

For quite some time ive been following ur vlog about poco f3. But in the end I bought GT neo2. Coz of Battery Life, Fast charging, bigger Vapor cooling chamber, higher touch sampling rate. And lastly GTneo2 camera design is really nice compare to poco f3. Question is why they don't have HDR support in netflix? Maybe because they have O1 Ultra Vision Engine?

Why you say "lenses" after wide angle in both cases? Also you say "bigger sensor" both in this video and in the F3 vs 11T video but I'm not sure whatever you actually mean bigger sensor or more pixels.

I would say, for a 100$ more, not shabby, although the Poco FEELS more premium to me and has a bit of a better design. The MIUI is focused on aesthetics and smoothness i suppose and thats fine. I would give the dub to the Poco although in very close second the Realme.

You made a mistake regarding the displays. The Realme GT Neo2 has a 6.62 inch display. Not a 6.52 inch as you mentioned.

Friends, i want to ask, has GT Neo 2 problem with Netflix? HDR or another problem? Thanks...

Adam i know the poco f3 have widevine L1 but the problem is when i check the video playback specifications it only support sd playback despite the phone having L1. And yes i do hv premium subscription to even watch at 4k on my tv. I've tried reinstalling Netflix but it doesn't resolve anything. Besides that now i cant even watch any movies or series on netflix with my mobile data. I can watch video on KZread even at 1440p with no buffering so i wonder why i cant watch Netflix due to the problem where it says i dont have fast internet connection and forced me to use wifi. Do you have any solution regarding any of my issues here. Thanks in advance.

Hey Adam! In this review, the lens of the F3 is dirty in the test shots! Look at 9:36 for example. Do you see the vertical lines on the lights on the F3 photo? That is because the lens is greasy!!

Were you even there to make such an assumption that the lens was "greasy"? Firstly I have been shooting videos and photos professionally for 6 years to know a basic thing like to wipe a lens, secondly that lines you were referring to is how the image processing is for the Poco F3 for direct lights most of the times, it is pretty in consistent, I have been using the phone for 9 months so calm down with your assumptions, it's not cool

Here in the Philippines, the Poco F3 8gb 256gb can go down as low as USD306 and lower plus voucher. And if I'm not mistaken, the Dragonball Edition of this phone costs around USD590. So, more or less the standard version 12gb 256gb might cost here, if ever released, USD500+. Price-wise F3 is still the king. But if you're a camera lover, loves faster charging speed, and have a bigger budget go for GT Neo 2. But Poco F4 and F4 GT are coming soon, maybe March? So, if you can wait for those phones to be released before you decides which phone you want to buy this 2022, wait for it. If not, and you want to try all of them, why not. Hehe. Great comparison though. Blackshark 4 user here.

It's true that realme camera is better AT FIRST, but time goes by and too many software updates, the camera quality fades. Tested and proven..

It's not that fair of comparison due to the release date gap between both phones. Neo GT 2 clearly superior. But I still give W to Poco due to it's relevantness even after almost a year. Also discount, can get the top variant at RM1300++ only
