Thanks Adam for the comparison. The F4 is worth buying for those who've missed out on the F3. Think of it like a remastered version of the F3. Considering the F4 to be my next upgrade from the current 3 year-old Zenfone Max Pro M2 that I'm using.

Hi Mr. Adam. Great comparison video. Back then i was using Poco F3 for one year and yes heat issue occured when playing games (well i don't play HD games, just casual games). Now i am watching your video with Poco F4 8/256 Midnight Black version. I do agree with your conclusion, but personally Poco F4 is more than enough as my daily driver. Not heat issue occured. As for the camera, i rarely used it.

I recommended you to buy the Poco F4! although you may find poco f3 is cheaper but software support would last 1less yr due to earlier release date from poco f4

Some xiaomi phones don't get updates for very long, the F4 might be newer but it's also the same soc, and almost the same internally, it remains to be seen if it's really future proof, i think, if you can find an F3 for a good price, new or used, get it, and the telemacro lens is awesome.

I love poco, four years ago I wanted the poco f1 but it was not available and settled for an Asus zenfone 5z,amazing phone, sadly couldn't afford to upgrade to the new zenfone. Gt neo 3 has a better processor, faster charging, longer battery endurance, cameras the same give or take, poco has a better screen and cooling. But all the differences are within 10%,which is almost unnoticeable in daily use, apart from the 150w charging.

It's nice to see the various subtle improvements adding up for better Overall experience, but it's overprized. At similiar or alright Higher Prize I would choose F4, but I got the F3 half the Prize of the F4, so yeah.

if ur getting F3 on steal prices, F3 is the better choice.

In whole honesty, had Poco f4 stayed within that price bracket of its sibling f3, than clearly it would've been a deal of the year. Sadly, atleast where I'm from, the price gap is just way too huge to even consider f4. Also, Adam keep doin' what you do bro! Refreshing to see a normal guy amongst all them youtube fakers.

Yea definitely it's a great phone been using it for just over 2 weeks I would wait for a sale to save lots of money. 6GB of ram is plenty.

I actually bought the poco f3 in the early june of this year, but i'm so happy with it, so even though ik that the poco f4 is slightly better, i'll wait a couple years to get a phone with better specs, but still, the poco f3 is a beast

Hmm... I personally think F3 camera is better than F4, the dynamic range, selfies, potrait, and macro. As of battery life. I don't know if u tested the F4 with the new F3 or and old one.. since battery life do decrease over time. And F3 price is alot cheaper than F4.. So for me, F3 is the winner here, overall. F4 wins in terms of charging speed, and cooling system which also means better performance stability.

Leaving this comment so that this channel gets into algorithm. Underrated

Poco f4 to me no doubt the best display for mid range smartphones to date, i like how clean the display looks, someone like me who likes to browse KZread and Netflix daily will surely enjoy it, on the plus side it's got some beefy gaming performance too so that's a real catch for me, Moreover decent battery and charging speed, I'm using redmi note 8 pro writing this and to my surprise it is a very good device but it's about time to change, been doing good for the past 3 years time to upgrade

Everything was great except I feel that the screen was too yellowish for my liking, it was like my phone was in slightly weaker reading mode all the time, I asked for a replacement but it got rejected. Does anyone else face this issue or is it just me? P.S. : I used the advanced colour settings to change the colour to my liking but was still intrigued that it could be a hardware issue.

I just lost my F3 and just got a replacement F4 ! I was very fond of my F3 in all aspects minus the camera but I will give it a good go. That camera sucked compared to all phones I've had this year (X3 pro, Xperia 5 iii, pixel 6 pro) so the bar is low to beat. Your work is very professional.. videos are very polished with very smooth and slick animations/video editing. I enjoyed the level of detail as you always mention day to day use and compare side by side performance. I always enjoy watching your content so thank you and keep up the brilliant work! As mine was replaced at no cost to myself, I would say for now, F4 but if I had to spend my own money, I would personally say F3 as the design feels and looks more premium, particularly in white and the minor refinements you get from the F4 are incremental, not significant. If priced similarly, F3. At the time it came out, it was so good spec wise and a bargain for the package.

For the Poco F4 couldn't they pick the 64mp samsung sensor they used in Note 9 pro!!! OV sensor gives pleasing colors but there is so much lack of details.

If you have F3 I wound think it's not worth upgrading to F4, but since I don't have either yet and am looking to buy one, which one would you guys recommend? Should I get the F4 or cheap out and get the F3?

U & me are the same. I'm also love the Poco F3(Redmi K40). It looks so much premium than the Poco F4(Redmi K40s). The main difference between them are the body build design & charging speed. Redmi k40s (Poco F4) charging speed is so fast ⏩⏩⏩⏩⏩

I came here because I bought a poco f4 on sale because I have an F3 and love it. So, the first thing I noticed was the speakers on the poco f4 were better, that is exactly what I wanted to confirm lol.

I just bought F3 256/8gb for 250$ (used, like new) and not gonna lie my friend that bough the F3 since release was surprised that my used phone performed same as his day 1 phone (even the battery 🔋)

To get 4K 60fps EIS in Poco F3 just use Gcam ez problem solve xD and i also recommend to use custom rom if you want to unlock 90,120 games or you want something like smoothness with better stability/performance

The video is good video, but the intro was the best!! 😂😂 Ik like the Poco F3! The sound and the picture was in my opinion beter than the F4. Thanks! BTW. Ik choose the F3

Adam, can you please address the proximity sensor (it is software based rather than hardware based on all these Xiaomi devices - by Elliptic Labs) on these 2 Poco phones? I returned my Poco F3 last year after a few days of use because the gimmicky proximity sensor wasn't working - screen came on when phone was next to the face during calls, resulting in touched buttons, listening to WhatsApp voice messages turned off the screen and speaker, moving the audio to the top speaker, with low volume, like phone call mode. It was too frustrating to ignore. Please do a video about this for the F3 and F4. I am sure a lot of people would appreciate it too as this problem has plagued Xiaomi/Poco phones for a couple of years and a lot of people have complained online on Reddit, KZread, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Great comparison video BTW. I wouldn't worry too much about the 1 gram difference though LMAO.

I’m aware of the proximity issues that people are facing but as I mentioned in my 9th month review of the Poco F3 I don’t and never had such issues, hence I didn’t address it

I got the poco f4 in the early bird deal saved so much money it's a great phone the down side of it is that you have to have a case on it because finger prints are very noticeable I find that I end up wiping the back of the condom case you get with it. Would not recommend to upgrade if you have f3 it's to similar.

Bought my F3 for RM1100 few months back as they were clearing stock to make way for F4, which is around RM2400 I think. Worth every ringgit tbh.

im an f3 user before. and rushing to buy f4.. what i realy like about the f4 is the battery power ill play games im mote than 4 hrs but still the battery life is at 50% unlike f3 ill play for more than 3 hrs but i need to charge again. my f3 battery is so fast to drain even im not using it..f4 is not heating so much unlike poco f3..

Thank you for the comparison. The F4 ticks boxes and keeps accounts happy - OIS, same SoC, 2mp macro, non Gorilla glass back, and a noticeable price increase over F3's full price. For all F4's new camera the improvement seems subtle. Lim mentioned OIS only worked up to 4K 30, not 60. Did you find the same thing?

What is your opinion about the x3 pro?

Ordered in 13 Feb 2022, got it for a good price at 1150aed (around 320usd). Died yesterday 2 December 2022, motherboard problem, the phone goes into bootloop whenever the CPU heats a bit, or turns off when pushing the CPU while using demanding apps. Note that the phone is stock, not modified in anyway, no flash nothing. This is the only phone that died on me from all the other phones I have owned, which are plenty, from premium to cheapos, and it got fried in less than a year! Even my Samsung Note II is still working fine! I used to say Poco f3 is good value, you can get 3 for the price of a premium phone, I take it back, the headache of loosing all your data during a wipe to get it to partially work again is not worth it.

If a person is hunting for a new phone, then the F4 is the way to go.. If he is already on the F3, just keep using it as it is not worth of an upgrade. For those is on a limited budget, F3 is the way to go.

Well... The telemacro lens on the Poco F3 is amazing actually, on the F4 it has the same lens as many newer models in Xiaomi brands, even newer and higher ends compared to the F4, it is even the same as the entry level Redmi note 11, and it's a 2MP with fixed focus, poor colors rendering and very heavy noise around and on the object.

CONCLUSION : if you can purchase F3 at the half the price of F4, F3 is the obvious choice. Thank you.

I had poco f3.After using 1.5 year I dropped dumbbell on it in the gym :) .Bought poco f4 after that I can say exactly same phone but loved poco f4 a bit than F3.

Well tbh im not so sure which to pick. F4 looks way way better but rest is kinda same with some progress here and there. Hard candy

I will still pick the F3 just because of the price as it could get low online but if I am not comfortable purchasing phone online or if I want longer software update(I doubt it), then I would got for F4.

Imo Snapdragon 870 gaming overall is better than Snapdragon 888 which on normal phone ,it overheating like crazy , except for those gaming phone with sd888 that have proper cooling system , i'm using mi 11 (sd888) , before this i used mi 10T (SD865) , my old mi 10t gaming nonstop at 90fps settings without overheating while the mi11 sd888 play around 20minute and it get hot and throttled , the game i play is Onmyoji Arena Moba 5vs5 ,this game have 90fps+ setting. I suggest if someone of you guy planning to buy phone , please skip the smartphone that have SD888 and SD Gen 1 , this 2 soc only work on gaming phone ,other than that , it will perform like 💩🌝. And if you guy want to buy latest SoC , please go with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 ,not 8 gen 1 , the difference with these 2 SoC is like langit dan bumi 🤣. I'm planning to trade in my mi 11 and go with poco f4 or f3 😁 (btw sorry kalau english saya teruk)

The poco f4 probably weighs 196g instead of the advertised 195g because of the pre-applied screen protector.

The F3 is a strong one honestly, build quality is great, i know from experience since it fell quite some times on hard grounds without breaking any of the front or back glasses, without a case, but then i don't know the K20 Pro so it might be even better.

Still prefer the Poco F3. Using it for 1.3 years without any problem. Still snappy asf. The gcam has fixed the camera issue.

I choose f3 cause boxy type is uncomfortable for me

I own the f3 6/128 im thinking to wait for f5 to upgrade

Personally and by far I prefer the design of the F3. On the other hand, I'm quite disgusted with the fact that Xiaomi creates so many software disparities between these 2 smartphones which have almost the same hardware except for the main camera (the macro I don't care a bit about). But what I really would have liked was to have a K30 Zoom with 120 hertz or even 90 hertz. Ps: I will never recommend this F4 to anyone, and surely I will never recommend Xiaomi to anyone again. I really don't like the direction Xiaomi is going, this F4 is a way of forcing the hand of consumers who want to have up-to-date software, updates that could simply have been done on the F3.

F3 still the best, now.. waiting F5

I use the POCO F3, the camera is decent, the only impressive about this device is the speed, but believe me, The Poco f3 has signal issues, the signal just goes off all of a sudden ... It really annoys me

I never has this problem, on the contrary, being a 5G phone, and using a 4G+ subscription, the speeds and stability was amazing, 4 times better than with a 4G phone. I would however acknowledge that the speed is even higher when you leave the phone away without it moving at all.

I recently got my Poco F4 5g mobile. Everything was great except I feel that the screen was too yellowish for my liking, it was like my phone was in slightly weaker reading mode all the time, I asked for a replacement but it got rejected. Does anyone else face this issue or is it just me?

It because your eye not compatible with amoled wait for 2-3 and it will be fine

@@saminsana1034 yes the f4 is better in screen with amoled plus dolby vision and accurate colour plus HDR 10 + .Meanwhile in poco f3 it has a amoled E3 that will have a dimming to keep the screen in check that all i got the option . F4 for better quality screen ,F3 for reading mode lover.

I like Full HD+ good quality IPS Display... I don't like Yellowish, warmer, eye catching and vibrant color display, I like natural color display like ips display... If amoled display looks clean and fresh and not too much pop up color, then i will buy a Amoled display smartphone like 11t or note 11 pro +?

Poco f3 I hade poco f1 back 2018 best android I ever used I am i14 user now after i11

I'm not own Poco phone before. I can't decide get F3 or F4 for the price between RM400.
