Walmart is a China Distribution Center. And just to get a little off topic, I just attended a doctoral graduation at a large Southern College and 75% of the people that graduated with a doctorate in engineering had Chinese surnames

Thanks for the review. U saved me time and money. I'm intrigued with the idea of a portable expanding water hose, but it must be durable. For now I'll stick with my Goodyear conventional rubber water hose. It's been with me for five years and hasn't failed me yet.

I just bought one but I need it to wash my vehicles in the driveway. I hate kinks but it makes sense what people say about dragging over concrete causing it to burst. Going back.

I wonder if you kept the water on so there was a continuous water pressure because that will damage any hose in the long run

Tip for durability> do not drag across rough concrete, it will break a thread. Once a thread breaks, the rubber liner ballons out and bursts.

Although I want to believe you I can't deny the fact you could have just walked up and cut it twice. What in your yard could have caused cuts like that in 5 days of minimal use? That's like what 1 or 2 uses?

The material used to make these hoses are very cheap. They actually use the cheapest material they can make a deal for to maximize profits. You see, they understand that people are going to give the product shitty reviews. But what they are counting on, is the 1st 3 months of sales. "The Light Bulb" company pays out a million dollars for someone's idea. Then they pay 50 million to make about 10 million hoses in China. That's right, only about $5 to make each $40 hose . So as long as they sell well in the first 3 months, they could care less about what people say. And there are tens of millions of idiot's in America that still just order anything off of tv. I love capitalism. But this is Capitalism at its worst.

What is your water pressure because I’m pretty sure anything over 70 pounds is not good for any hose except for maybe a high-pressure one

Any chance you hit with a lawnmower...? Do you leave water pressure in it when not in use...? I know you said you went through a Goodyear hose too which is strongly built...I wonder why your hoses keep failing...?

I definitely did not hit it with the lawn mower. Water was released out of the hose after every use. Although these types of designs are a good idea, I don’t think there is a design out there that lasts. A buddy of mine has the zero-g and says it’s been working great. I may give it a shot.

Joe's Product Reviews I use the zero-G & it’s a super great hose! It’s on the lighter weight side & it sits outside in the Texas sun half the day...it’s still going strong two years later(except for a little bleaching out of the color.) I would say go with the zero-g! It took me many hoses to figure that out!

Good call my friend. The liner is fragile, and even a small thorn can puncture through the sleeve. There is also blatant false advertising. They clam the hose is 3/4", which has great water flow. Yet when you look at the end of the hose, the hole is 1/4". They should advertise it as a 1/4" hose, because that's what it is.

I have a neighbor that swears by these "flex hoses" . . . . but, I share your experience. Over the last 20 yrs I have been suckered into buying them twice . . . thinking the technology surely has improved over time . . . . HA! Same ole unadulterated shit. We can go to the moon . . . but can't make a decent hose that works and lasts. If someone actually made a quality "flex" type hose people would buy them like crazy.
