Palmer what a player thanks city

We were the better team for the majority of the match and deserved the win. However once again individual errors and defensive awareness almost cost us, but the fight we showed was a much bigger mentality improvement than we've shown for most games this season and hopefully we can build on that. Win our game in hand and we are 7th, let's not get stupidly negative every game even when we just won a thriller. COYB

What a game! However United deserved to win (and I'm a Chelsea Fan) and Cole Palmer clawed us the 3 points. United weren't playing well but compared to us they were playing fantastic. So I'm happy we got the 3 points but we owe it all to Cold Palmer 🥶

@@plotagonx3303 No? United bareky even came near our half for the first half-hour and after their third, and even inbetween that we had the majority of chances, they were just far more clinical. Palmer obviously incredible but multiple players were alao great today. Both Mudryk and Cucarella did really well too, and Enzo completely bossed the midfield. Would have said Caicedo too because he was our best player up until the mistake and then his head dropped unfortunately.

@@sinternet_2250 The reason why they didn't come in our area is because they wanted to play defensive since they're 2-3 up. Enzo didn't really "boss" the midfield and Caicedo had a shocker today. No one really played WELL with the obvious exception of Cold Palmer. So today we really got lucky but we can't let this lucky win blind us of the huge crisis in the club right now.

​@plotagonx3303 You are wrong. Players like Cucurella, Enzo actually played well, so is Conor. Unfortunately, Palmer was bonkers in this game, but still scored hattrick which is crazy. Overall, very bad performance from Chelsea, was kinda lucky to win this game, but we have to keep improving, especially defensive set up.

We need to improve a lot and we need these owners to stop being such clowns. Cole Palmer bailed out Poch today. Overall terrible team performance but some good individual performance.

@@loxycasanova7215 Problem is from a financial perspective he is pure profit on books and owners see this as a quick fix to Chelsea’s profit and sustainability issues. Bottom line is club needs to generate £100M of sales this summer and Connor represents a potentially huge part of that given his value in the game currently. Yes we have other players that can and likely will be sold but it will be interesting to see how the club chips away at this £100M figure with the players we do have that we aren’t using.

@@louiselder9000 age problem? we have one of the youngest squads in europe, it is not a problem is was a structure going forward. Sterling has none of the elements of a 'leader' and so his age is irrelevant. Casadei should be getting fielded after the recall.

We'd go so much further with a bit more defensive coaching. So many poor mistakes, we just leak goals. At least now we're also able to score, but we can't just rely on outscoring to win games.

Give the team some credit. It's just months they're all been playing together and having to adapt due to the injuries so mistakes and inconsistencies have to be there. Yet they got to a final and in contention of another 1 and we've only lost to 2 teams in the top 5 in the league this far. The talent and quality is there, they just need to have more control and management and they will in time.

No experience in this team! Snatching a victory from the jaws of defeat is nothing to brag about. Sure as a fan i jumped out of my seat at 4-3 because i couldn't wait to beat Man U since 2017 and it looked like yet again we bottled it. All season long we have seen clear pattern and that is that these youngsters lose their focus and confidence when things go wrong. One mistake and it all goes downhill in flames. Poch is still clueless! We always come out at halftime looking dreadful as if he puts these kids to sleep at halftime. He isn't the one but our sporting directors are criminally incompetent! We need a few experienced players in there!!!
