This is a Pale Morning Dun (PMD) dry fly. I prefer to use the poly yarn for the dry fly post of the PMD because it helps it float better and provide better visibility. The PMD is a great mid-morning fly. I will often trail this dry fly behind a larger attractor pattern. Somewhat simple tie and can be tied in various sizes.
