Do you also need a batter for this device ? I have the same exact 1 but I was wondering if plug the power and negative wire straight to the power max or do I need a car battery to use this ?

cheehoo I am sure you could use that to send power to whatever you want, but it’s designed for charging batteries which is why it has a smart 3 stage option. If you set it to a fixed output it would be a static output of said voltage of clean power. There are better options out there though if you are not using to charge batteries

Free Beck negative.. this will provide 12v power all the way thru. Huge power supply in there. Theres a reason why you have options to pick from. A 100amp version of this power supply would be more than enough with a car amplifier that draws out only 50-80 amps. Thanks babe.
