Another good tip: if u are using 2 or more screens. Go to the Windows Display Settings and keep the same resolution and zoom (maybe 125%) on BOTH of ur screens.

If you have this problem on the serum plugin, just press the serum logo on the plugin and it will give you options for zoom levels... Literally took me multiple days to find this out by random lol 🤦

Great video, with a ton of great tips, none of them work on kontakt, I've been digging for hours trying to figure out a way to resize this plugin, that almost everyone uses, it is just impossible, and my eyes are dying on a 1440p monitor trying to read the text there. If you have any idea how to even change the font size or the gui size there I would really appreciate it!

I wish I did but I don’t. It’s a very common problem with Kontakt and from what I’ve seen there isn’t much for a solution out there. Kontakt doesn’t support HiDPI which stops it from scaling to larger resolutions. Since they also don’t offer gui scaling… it’s a problem. If you do find a solution, please let me know. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!

Thank you! Option 4 (6:00) The FL Studio General Menu Main Scaling worked for me and nothing else. I have a 4K monitor and Windows scaling is set to 150% (Recommended). All Native Instruments plugins that are recent (not old massive or Absynth etc) are cut off within FL Studio window. Nothing worked EXCEPT changing Main GUI Scaling in FL Studio to 200%. The downside is FL Studio Mixer and some of the plugins are now much larger, but at least all Native Instruments plugins are now usable again. Things such as Reaktor are still very small and this means anything such as "Monark" or other Reaktor plugins also appear super tiny.

I have a problem with Massive and nothing helped, it's either too small or too big.....damn

🙏🏻🙏🏻When I open a vst in fl studio I see the vst but there’s like a fl studio outline window attached to the vst window with options at that top and I have a hard time moving my vst window around the screen sometimes. Is there a way around this. I never had this problem with ableton. I’m assuming there’s an option I can click to correct this vst screen moving issue.

You should be able to grab the top bar of the VST window. Sadly it can be a smaller target, however, you get used to it after a while and won’t even think about it anymore.

Sizing options are plugin specific. Some plugins you will be able to resize by stretching and some you will not.

I have a plugin that keeps opening as detached but really big and it's not letting me move it around very far, and I'm on the trial so I'd prefer not to have to close and open it. Anyone know how to fix it?

The arrow on the top left of the plugin should have a dropdown which will show the detached option. You can toggle it there. If the size is too big you may need to change your resolution on your display.

kontakt 6 is pretty small (what i like and i want) compared to kontakt 7 are there any known solutions for that?

Sadly, Kontakt sizing issues is a very well-known thing and there is not much for solutions regarding it. I would look out in forums. Last time I searched however, I didn't find any solutions. If you find any, please let me know. Thanks!

Kinda wish MPC did this. Their software is really garbage in some regards but I'm just so used to the workflow.

MPCs and MPC software definitely have their place. Music made by an MPC has a sound of its own that can be hard to get otherwise. Ignorance doesn't allow me to speak on what MPC software has to offer compared to some of the DAW environments available (Since I've never used an MPC before). With that said though, I would like to get an MPC at some point.

Sadly, depending on the plugin, dragging to size is not an option due to the way plugins live within the FL Studio "wrappers". Let me know if you find any solutions that work for you because they may help somebody else!

Shouldnt be this difficult to change the size of plug ins. What happened to just using the mouse to shrink windows???? Did fl studios just not remember that function?

​@@Prodby_Cronos Interesting. The one requirement I know of for "Make Bridged" is that it be a VST plugin. If you look in your plugin manager, sometimes there is duplicates of your plugins, the duplicates will be different VST versions such as VST3 vs VST and some will be 32 bit or 64 bit versions. I'd try and use the latest VST version available and make sure if you have a 64 bit operating system that you are using the 64 bit version and see if that resolves the issue.

Sounds like you are in need of a monitor with a larger resolution. If you're using an old VGA cable you can see if the monitor supports HDMI or anything newer to see if that gives you a larger resolution. Unless, of course, you have a huge monitor and the plugins are just too small.
