I lost my license about a year ago and a half ago through my own fault and decisions , and it actually hurts watching you’re vids knowing no one is going to ever let me in the seat of truck/skid steer/back hoe etc. to plow again because 1. it would be really expensive to put me on a company insurance plan , and 2. No boss ever gives a guy with a record a chance .. I threw 12 years of experience out the window because I was too stupid to smarten up before it was too late and lost literally everything for it .. I still and always will love your vids Stan, you’re vids are one of the reason I decided to stick with my job instead of choose a new career and I absolutely loved every day of it .. I just can’t watch your vids right now , I only made it about a min and a half of this one before I wrote this and went to bed lol

This is truly the ice capade for the construction field where there you are landscaper, framer or even heavy equipment operator who doesn't get to see this kind of action seeing these tractors skate on ice strategically moving that snow with all the lights moving around probably good thing we can't hear the backup beepers and maybe an occasional horn hawk it takes playing in the snow to a whole different level awesome guys why hasn't some tractor company come up with a pusher for the rear end of a heavy loader again I am not familiar with snow plowing but so far I have not seen something like that

Tonight after your video i will finalize my work schedule for leaves this weekend and for next weekend as well, since next week will be my final leaf clean up. The strategies and patterns you use to clear large lots intrigues me. Sometimes I watch your videos and it seems to be random but I can also see that there is a strategy to how much snow you push and what equipment you use to move it in different situations. We'll see how you move snow to one location and then use a different piece of equipment to move it the rest of the way to the pile areas. Would love to hear a little bit more in depth how you plan that.

Still waiting on winter here in Southern WV, it was 66⁰ here today. I know you haven't bought any new skidsteers but have you ever even any thought about running cab tractors instead of skidsteers? At half the initial cost I would think they would be a attractive option. I would think the only downfall would be them being physically larger than a skid and not as maneuverable when using them during off plow season

Typically once in this line of work your body develops a pretty strangely accurate "bathroom routine". One can assume for these guys if something irregular comes up it's either dealt with on site for minor movements or a quick drive to gas station to deal with the rest. Hey Stan been watching your videos for the last four or five years they’re really good I know what you mean I push snow at the General Motors proving grounds in Milford Michigan we’ve been doing that for about 15 years now and it’s a big snow as well it’s good to see that somebody else feels the pain to after about 1516 hrs. of pushing snow but it never ends sometimes someone is a little bit easier than others that’s for sure love the videos..
This is truly the ice capade for the construction field where there you are landscaper, framer or even heavy equipment operator who doesn't get to see this kind of action seeing these tractors skate on ice strategically moving that snow with all the lights moving around probably good thing we can't hear the backup beepers and maybe an occasional horn hawk it takes playing in the snow to a whole different level awesome guys why hasn't some tractor company come up with a pusher for the rear end of a heavy loader again I am not familiar with snow plowing but so far I have not seen something like that
Great choreography going on there. Plowing is tough on equipment for sure. I bet your happy when all the cars are gone and it's just a lot. I plowed apartment complexes and talk about a pain.(but you know that already)

Hey hey stan, how are you doing, it has been a. Busy day for me, got my art project done, then i got some math notes copied done then went to my night math class, we had a test but the good news is I believe I did good on the test, it was relatively simple as i had been studying my notes for this.tonight’s dinner was leftover pulled pork, sorting about them leftovers, so delicious, and moist. Tonight after your video i will finalize my work schedule for leaves this weekend and for next weekend as well, since next week will be my final leaf clean up. I will have 5 lawns his weekend and 1 next week. Tomorrow i have classes from 11:00 am till about 3:30 pm, the good news is i get a ten minute intermission between classes and each class is only an hour and 20 minutes. Anyways stan, i hope you and the guys are doing well. And god bless and go get em, your pal and friend Alexander costa

Another great show. Love your loaders. Questions does your plow do as much as the backblade. Also I can't believe you don't have a cheap harbor frait shelter for your truck. Keep up the good work God bless you all.
Very impressed with the ASV as it has it's blade down pushing snow 90% of the time, no backing up! Very efficient time wise, saving fuel, ect.

Happy to see the plowing videos back! Question Stan, on these ice under the snow jobs, do you all put down salt or anything?
The snow plow videos are my favorite...haven't had a flake of snow here in West Virginia 😏😏
Nice Video! Interested to know what camera equipment you use for your time lapse shots/outdoor clips. I live in very northern Canada where we have -20c to -40c regularly and battery/camera freeze up is an major problem.
Would you consider équipements like farming tractors like Quebec does for heavy wet snow
Stan, give him a raise, he figured it out and fixed it. LOL
We plowed at the farm with a can am 4wheeler fir years but finally brought a kabota sxs with a plow. What a huge difference just the weight of the machine makes a huge difference

Hey guys. Happy holidays. Ont here in ny we didn't get hit with any snow yet. U guys are lucky
Impressive thank you

Still waiting on winter here in Southern WV, it was 66⁰ here today. I know you haven't bought any new skidsteers but have you ever even any thought about running cab tractors instead of skidsteers? At half the initial cost I would think they would be a attractive option. I would think the only downfall would be them being physically larger than a skid and not as maneuverable when using them during off plow season
Need some drone overhead shots. Maybe a video on your plow techniques in different lots...commercial, retail, apartments. With & without cars also. As always...thank you for the content.
No snow in Northern Illinois yet, not that I'm complaining. But it's a coming. Great, congrats on 800,000. Merry Christmas!

Hey Stan! I hope your doing great. Long time fan here. Your snow clearing videos are my favorite. I have a silly question. What are your thoughts or do you have plans to buy/rent a tractor of some type for snow clearing? I would personally love to see a NewHoland or Kaboda with a front loader attached for a plow.

Hands free mic. Tim? What were you thinking? I just bumped a 4" parking lot sign this morning. It fell right over. Didn't realize I was rolling. Looked down for ten seconds. Then whoops. Oh well I'll fix it.
just had a thought. we know you can be out there for hours doing this stuff. how many miles do you do during one of these storms?
Im Loveing the snow plowing videos. im curious: What cameras do you use?
Your fleet has really changed from the time you started on KZread. I remember when you had to put plywood underneath to protect the parking lot. Something I've always wondered, what do you do if you have to go to the bathroom and you're plowing snow? Do you go where you are or drive to a gas station?
@Tannertraversed
Жыл бұрын
Typically once in this line of work your body develops a pretty strangely accurate "bathroom routine". One can assume for these guys if something irregular comes up it's either dealt with on site for minor movements or a quick drive to gas station to deal with the rest. When I did irrigation especially cottage sites, home owners weren't around, we were constantly finding places in the Bush to deal with things, gotta do what ya gotta do 🤙

The sdlg looks like it could use some liquid in the tires to give it weight to help the tires bite a bit better we do winter washer fluid in everything makes a huge difference and not corrosive on the rims

Beet Juice would add 500 more pounds than windshield washer fluid and it's noncorrosive and freeze protected to -35F.
More POV from your truck an other equipment. 14:05👍

You should get a carport tent. They're like 500$ but last a decade if taken care of. Keeps the snow off your car, easy to install.
Hey bro, love the plowing videos...I plowed at the jersey shore for about 35 years and miss it dearly since I retired...Not a big fan of the back plows....Great job and keep up the great videos... Happy Holidays and GO VIKES, been waiting a whole lotta years to win the big one, being 65 now, I need a win soon...lol God bless.....👍👍👍
Do you salt prior to every event ? If it’s contract they say use at your discretion so I’m wondering because I typically do but after seeing this video the ground looks a little icy. Also Great video and content 🙌🏾🙌🏾.
@DirtMonkey. How do you think a leaf blower would have done on cleaning out the truck that looked like a pretty light snow?

Hey Stan in the first park of the video your truck plow was scraping better than the sledge and arctic. Which surprised me as I run arctic myself did the operator not have it set right? Hard to believe a truck plow can out scrape a sectional. Just curious
Where has the back plow been on your dodge lately. Also would be cool to see a video like before of all the plow trucks and different plows on each again and how you guys like each.
Great job guys!!! Can’t wait for our first snow fall in Ohio!!!
Stan buddy. Take some advise from a Manitoban. Use a dedicated floor broom to clean the snow off your truck. It's so much easier & faster.
