I love the “if I show you will you fold?” Line. I gotta use that lol. I’ve been going and re watching all your old vlogs. Definitely some of my favorite poker content! I love how you always run the equities in these spots. Good info for people learning PLO

Tyvm, glad you're enjoyingbit! The other day I saved $250 on the river by getting my opponent talking. I flopped a set of queens on a KQ2 flop Board paired K on the turn, river was a 5. He showed me KQxx for the 2-outer after I showed him my laydown
Great vid. Very well explained on where you thought you went wrong with missed value etc. Looking forward to the next one

Thanks for watching, can't believe this was a year+ ago already! I've been slacking on my pimping with videos lately, started working with Poker House Austin and we have our Grand Opening this weekend so have been slammed with the new startup room, hoping to get back on the felt and vlogging within the next month :)

Nice PLO video! We need more PLO Cash games esp from Texas. Definitely, you should be raising with JJ55 D.S. in that game or any game when First in. Keep the videos rolling!
@PokerJeezus

JJ55 ds is deceptive and generally I'd recommend a fold You make too many weak flushes and a set of 5's either means you don't have top set or if you do have top set a straight is possible So really you're mostly only playing the JJ holding.
Love the videos! Very entertaining and informative. Don’t forget… no gnews is good gnews.

Understand, I've been playing a bit too timid post flop myself. I too prefer a pull strategy in general......try to push now and then, and believe I just haven't the experience yet for purely LAG play.

I COULD play laggy, but it just opens the door for the button mashers to get me playing their game preflop, and give up my edge postflop
Love your approach. Mine is similar.

They make a phone holder that fits inside of the cup holder on the table. It might work for you. I have one inside my truck.

Thanks for the tip, but sometimes players aren't seated directly in front of a cupholder, so it may not always line up

@@PokerJeezus I see your point. Every poker room where I play makes you sit directly in front of the cup holder. Louisiana. That was my thought process. Thanks for sharing your videos and FJB!!!
5:00 mark, you said that your opponent was 53% on the flop, he is not, he has 79.9% on the flop.

Love your videos. Wish I lived near Texas I would come by and buy you a beer. Question for you, do you think you overvalued those aces with the 2s? I would tend to call the raise and see what develops. Those are pretty shitty aces

They are not great Aces, but they're still a favorite over what my opponents are likely raising with I got two opponents with smaller pairs to play for theor stacks against my Aces Having 53% equity three-ways is pretty much a dream scenario and is printing money long term Shit, if I win just that one pot of close to $1,700 I'm not stuck $1,048 in the end
I related to everything you said at the end about playing style as I play the same way. I play with a lot of guys who have 75% vpips and simply do not care about raises preflop. I came to play poker, not bingo so I don’t like to bloat up the pot especially out of position unless I can get stacks in or close to it. Also, agree with the straddling. If there is a double, triple and quadruple straddling, why not play at higher stakes in the first place then? I didn’t come to a 2-5 table to be playing $80 blinds preflop and be only 15bb deep. How’s that different than playing $20-$40 stakes? It’s just degenerate gambling at that point with zero strategy. PS- Shave your arms for those that are complaining for our entertainment 😂 PSS- maybe I missed some vlogs but is poker your full time job?

I would have to say myself, I've probably watched more of my own footage than any other vlogger! In all seriousness, If I HAD to pick just one I'd say Ryan DePaulo. I enjoy his rawness, his being not politically correct, his humor, etc. That being said there are a ton of great vlogs out there that I watch regularly.

5:11 How can he only be 53%. You only have 6 outs plus a slim shot at a runner runner boat that beats T's full. Even when you make your straight, you can lose. I'd guess you really only have about 4 outs and that looks like 10% equity. More importantly, how did he manage to not re-raise the flop. He got paid, but he was lucky you were so strong. This certainly looks like a spot he should re-raise. He is a dog to KK, but crushes everything else.

Sorry I mispoke in my commentary. I meant to say preflop our hands were 53/47 but post-flop he was 80% equity against me on the flop. I just happened to have a hand that views that flop as extremely good for me and was up against one of the worst possible hands to be facing.
