    Hey thanks for checking in! I was terminated from Poker House at the end of March when I noticed some things I was concerned with legally and attempted to address them internally and it didn't go as I had hoped. Since then I've been working on putting together a business plan and I'm going to see if I can't forge my own path in this market with a room done right. Not guaranteed I'll get the backing I need, but nothing ventured, nothing gained and I'm extremely passionate about it.

    The problem is this is essentially their entry level PLO game Unlimited restraddles and match the stack allow deep pockets to turn a 1/2/5 into a shallow stacked 40/80 that only they are rolled to handle the variance I've seen guys 20-30k deep

    in the end, the J4 hand proved too much to be just an amateur move.... what's an amateur doing in that game anyway, so that excuse doesn't apply .... the pausing/tanking/vibrating & ridiculous conversation before/after showdown is the smoking gun imo as well.... looks at hand for 10 seconds, gets asked if u have 3's....nope.... just a pure bluff catcher... then says she thought she had 3's....says she thought he had an ace high (while calling with Jack high).... and when Garrett highlights this, the default to guilty rage comes out.... and some guy was fired in back room for taking her chips??? probably wanted to make sure he got paid for sending whatever signal it was considering the chaos that erupted the hand.... dumb

  • @PokerJeezus
    @PokerJeezus3 ай бұрын

    What surprised me the most about this whole situation was that at the time Garret was the golden boy, beloved by so many. And then somehow a ton of pitchforks came out against him and in support of her. Maybe they didn't see the interviews where she showed her true colors, being extremely nasty and condescending to others in them (I remember one in particular with an older woman who was trying to speak and she kept talking over her and just being vile) To this day I still firmly believe there was too much smoke and there has to be fire. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

    Do you think you lose money sometimes betting pot on the flop with your stronger hands so often? I think it's hard for people to call with inferior flush draws or other dominated hands to pot as an example. It can look weaker. It can also disguise so that it's harder to know what hand you have. I tend to bet between 1/3 and 3/4 when I bet on the flop unless the SPR is pretty low. I pot the turn more often with strong made hands, bluffs and my best Combo/Draws.
