Finally finished putting together the Plinky rev3 kit after starting it almost a week ago. Had to dust off my soldering skills. It's alive!
Please forgive my noobish playing here as it's my first time exploring this device, but I was excited that it was working on first boot. This noodling is after calibration which is the first thing that comes up when you power it on the first time. I'm excited to dig into all of the features and possibly start using it in my gigs.

Hey! What cable did you use to connect to your computer for recording this? I'm having major noise issues with my plinky, but not through headphones only through the audio interface :(

@@Redhippo55 I used my Zoom H6 to record the audio and my phone to record the video. I merged the audio with the video in DaVinci Resolve.

@@Redhippo55 Is the Plinky being powered on the same circuit as the computer? Not sure how much I can help. You should join the Plinky Discord server. They have a lot of experienced people that can help you including the creator.
But this just sounds like every other fella who has just bought a Plinky?

Just testing to make sure I built it correctly. This is not a review. Also, I haven't really seen any rev 3s out in the wild yet.

@@karnblack fair play. I was only curious to what 'Rev 3' meant. Mine is a clone (Rev 1?? hehe), but it is identical it seems, to yours. I note new beta software is now available.

@@tomfenn7149 Not sure if the update changes the sound at all, but USB C is nice as well as TRS MIDI. 🙂
