"In 2014, I released a song called "Ko Ki" in order to fundraise for a volunteering trip to Cambodia led by the wonderful non-profit organisation Raw Impact. At the beginning of 2015, I went to Cambodia, to help construct a community centre for the people of Ko Ki Village. This was an unforgettable experience - everything from the joy of playing games with some of the happiest kids I've ever seen, to the overwhelming realisation that I was able to use my love of music to benefit the lives of a community that barely even has access to clean water or electricity. Recently, I read that Raw Impact was embarking on its most ambitious project yet. After seeing the work that Raw Impact has done already, and being a part of one of their teams, there is no doubt in my mind that they can make this happen:
“This is the biggest thing we’ve ever done. 100 of the poorest families urgently need our help. The Cambodian Government have announced a bridge to join Phnom Penh with Gunty’s Island. This will force the relocation of 100 families currently living in slums. Every Piece Matters is about providing land for families so we can bring safe housing, primary education for their kids, rescue from debt slavery and provide a steady job for Mum and Dad. For every $5,000AUD pledged, one family can live on their own land.”
On that note, 100% of the proceeds generated by this song, from now until the end of June (when the fundraising campaign ends) will go directly to Raw Impact!"

I like how everyone comments other people coments. Like is this real? Express you being. That what this is all about.
Still listening to it in 2023, what an immortal homage to music, what a creative genius you are, Plini. I watched you live in Bangalore, back in 2019 - the only live performance I have watched in my life - some of the best moments of my life. Thank you, for doing what you do. May your music live on, thrive, and may it reach more and more people. Thank you.

One very simple thing that sets Plini apart from every other prog instrumentalist is that he's not afraid to just stay in one key for a while. Thank you Plini for not flexing all of the different chords you know just for the sake of appearing "educated".

I love the space that he allows in between licks. It's so expressive and is really something different from the typical shredding through a phrase. Really digging his sound!
Is not the first time i hear this song, and still can't get over the level of quality of it
This is one of those songs that always makes me feel better when I listen to it.
Plini was making quarantine/from home music. Such as visionary man!
Got tears in my eyes at the end. Beautiful good sir.
This song has soothed me many times before. Especially the intro is reammy soothing, with those pinch harmonics, and this wooshing sound effect. I really can say that this song has done a lot to me.
Seeing all the shots of everyone singing gives me chills every time! So cool!
I keep coming back to this song. I don't even know how to express how it's hitting me right now, but it really is
Why I can't stop listening to this?. 8 times in a row, and going up.
Wow, chills. That's great stuff. That's some rich humanity on display in that final section, love the crowdsourced choir.

And i had finally come to the conclusion pretty much all modern music was terrible now. And then one night youtube decided to expose me to modern prog for some reason. Last time i checked any prog out it was Rush, King crimson, and tool. Not my style at all. Plini, David Maxim Micic, Angel Vivaldi, Arch Echo, Chon, the list goes on, its all great, its all beautiful... where the hell have i been.
