I played football with Plies, before Plies we called him Nod. He’s from a really tough part of FM but, he would always show respect to you if you gave it to him. He would also throw down in a second, just because he’s a little shorter than most doesn’t mean he wouldn’t get it.

Great interview. I appreciate you guys for what you do because I like to think I'm a hip hop head but I don't necessarily listen to everyone that I know about. When I see an interview like this and find out how an artist views their world it gives me a truer sense of connection to the music they make; even if the music doesn't necessarily vibe with what I do on the day to day.

this shows you just how dumb some people are, they trash him because he went to school and got an education, that doesn't mean he doesn't come from the streets or didn't hang in the streets, if anything that shows he knew how to separate business from the bullshit, but most people feel u gotta be in the hood 24/7 to know anything about it..........and you wonder why we are stuck in this cycle smh
