Plevne is a city in bulgary. During the 93 war Osman Pasha defended this city with 20 thousand soldiers against 120 thousand Russian soldiers for 6 months. When he ran out of ammunition and food, he had to surrender.

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW why did we lose the war that's clear because of treason because many spies' made the Muslims fight each others ,,,, the made Arabian tribes fight each others , many of Arabs were loyal to the ottomans empire and some were loyal to the English so with the English military support they killed who were loyal to the Islamic empire ,,,,,,,,,,,,, then after loosing the war some Turkish betrayed the Islamic empire and became loyal to the English and worked hard to remove Islam from the Turkish nation and isolate the people who live in modem turkey from their Muslims pothers

Düşman tüfeklerinin menzili en fazla 300 metre iken Osmanlı askerlerinin tüfekleri 500 metrelik bir menzile sahipti. Ayrıca almanlardan getirttiğimiz son model arkadan doldurmalı krupp toplarına da sahiptik. Bunların hepsi darbeden önce Sultan Abdülaziz han tarafından orduyu modernize etmek için getirtilen ve atölyelerde sökülüp incelenip seri üretime geçirerek orduya dağıttığı silahlardır. Yani eğer silah bakımdan üstün değildik dersek yalan söylemiş oluruz. Ve zaten görüntülerde herne kadar çanakkale savaşı olsada marşta zaten plevne savaşı anlatılıyor yani yorumda yanlış.

Ve karşında ki dünyanın o zaman ki en güçlü devleti Britanya İmparatorluğu. Seddülbahir cephesi 32 saat dayanmasa. Mustafa Kemal paşa 57. Alayı yardıma göndermese vs düşman çanakkaleyi geçiyordu.

I have a great interest in the ww1 Ottoman army,and thus many books. I have always thought that though it failed the 1915 attack by three strong columns on the Suez Canal was an amazing military feat. Just getting there was an awful hardship.

It was a suicide attack with 20 thousand men... too few soldiers for a goal like conquering Egypt. 🙂 Historians in Türkiye sometimes criticize this plan. But we had to attack because the Germans were putting too much pressure...
