Bravo! I agree. Of course, I don't know him personally but he was anything like he is now, then his personality and confidence probably played a big part. Everything else probably fell into place.

Actually very true. I train in contemporary dance and when auditioning for conservatoire dance schools, they’d take on people who maybe weren’t technically trained or done much dance - but they could tell they had something and would develop well - particularly the boys

@@kerryholland4822 wow it's similar to how they choose trainee by agency to become Idol. I recently watched a k-pop survival show and the judge pick based on those criteria that you mentioned but I feel it's unfair when they don't passed the audition who have more technique and skill.

@@flymetotheup9904 the fact is that if they have technique, unless it's kpop technique or they have different techniques (kpop included) , it is really difficult to break that down and train them in another technique... For example if someone auditions with ballerina technique, great skills and all, but doesn't know how to make a single step of kpop, they won't take this person, they would prefer someone that moves their body well, but can be trained into kpop . There are ex ballerinas in kpop, but they probably also knew different techniques too, not only the ballerina one, like in my example
