Remember Me is such a legendary song. The scene where Takumi’s father gives him the water and then seeing him effortlessly put the 86 through corners for the first time with this song playing is magical. I steal this next quote from a commentor on another Inital D vid: “I wish I could watch Initial D for the first time again.” I watched the show recently without thinking much of it, just another anime. But it was honestly one of the most genuine and emotive experiences I have had watching a show - any show. I doubt anyone will see this comment who has not watched the show already; however I implore u to not just watch the show, but to understand, well and truly so, that you are watching an absolute masterpiece. I feel it is important to insist that you should cherish every race, immerse yourself in every heart-pounding intense moment, experience the hype of every adrenaline-fuelled second of Eurobeat and bask in the unique charm and sincerity; of Initial D.
