infekt is solid, through and through.

While riddim has its positives, I think the genre as a whole can be very boring and lacks creativity. Infekt is the only dude in the whole riddim industry who can blow me away at all times. I never listen to riddim tracks for their full runtime either, yet Infekts stuff literally always has me craving for more and more. Easily the best of the best man I pray I get to see him live one day

Ngl, that is one of the reasons why I listen to mixes almost exclusively where there are double, triple or quad drops for example. It just adds insanity to otherwise a kinda bland track.

Any style can be good if it's produced well enough. INFEKT is a veteran of the riddim/trench scene and is capable of pulling off very refined tracks in the classic style. I think riddim has kind-off split into two different genres now, tearout and future riddim. I don't listen to much tearout but I can vouch for future riddim being extremely creative. I would highly suggest listening to some of Leotrix's 2021-2022 releases, as well as what MARGWA and She have been making.

I've really grown out of riddim, but yeah man Infekt is at the top of his game and you can't do anything but admire

idk, infekt is this kind of riddim artist, whose drops i could listen for straight hours, tone and flow of his shit are always special

I feel like these singles are nothing too special, but the execution is top notch as always

for me, switches tend to bother me and typically I like a song specifically for the main bass sound. Many songs I only like half of because one of the drops is quite different and I’m not a big fan of it! Different strokes I love the same sound over and over, sue me 😅

I gotta be honest, I’m not a fan of most of Infekt’s work. I only enjoy, like genuinely REALLY enjoy a dozen of his tracks. When he decides to make chunes he MAKES CHUNES. I have a similar view on HOL! Anyway, I’m not a fan of this and any of his releases this year, including this one. Lame sound design + lame bass patterns = lame music.

I’d describe his latest releases as very… dry? Its very lazy and the sounds are so uninteresting and the drops are underwhelming. With Trench music, you need every aspect of a chune to be solid if you want it to actually be a chune because of how minimalistic this kind of music is

i can definitely relate to this if we're talking about HOL!, his VIPs became almost the same as the originals. his music definitely started to feel repetitive and boring. Though i don't agree if we're talkin about Infekt. though his flows change in a minimal amount track by track, he still finds a way to make it interesting imo. I still respect your opinion, this is just mine.
