I found out about Andy when I was dirt broke after getting laid off. I was desperate so I called them about their training because I live near a few dealerships. I was on the phone with their sales rep for over an hour and the end, after knowing full well my situation, he tried selling me $600 worth of programs, and $300 one on one zoom meeting with Andy. I hung up in disgust without saying a word. Went back to school to learn programming and now after only a year, I’m an intern making $25 an hour. F those gurus

When I was about 19 I was in the hospital for a week and I shared a room with a guy who was in his 60s and was there because he had a heart attack. We talked about family and working and how he was able to get to a point in his life where he could comfortably support his family and his view on life... Long story short that man changed my life and how I viewed myself and my self worth. We talked almost every day for years until he passed away 2 years ago and I still talk with his family. He didn't put himself on a pedestal and truly cared for the people in his life, he showed me what a ment to be a man... And he wasn't even bald lol.

People show up in our lives that have the potential to change everything for us - but only if you pay attention and listen. I’ve had a few people like your hospital roommate come into my life and changed me profoundly. One was a coworker I did not know well. I had just returned to work after having twins, and he gave me the best parenting advice. He explained that he made sure his kids (he was in his 70s btw) were able to explore their interests as much as possible. That meant soccer practice, library books galore, science museum trips, gymnastics lessons and so on. He exposed them to all kinds of sports, arts, academics, and hobbies. I did the same, and my twins each found their passions pretty early in life and they sustained them through rough patches in their lives.

@@pinkmonkeybird2644 That's awesome, finding something that can get you through tough times can be difficult, so it's great they had the opportunity and support to find it early in life. If someone told me that having a conversation with a stranger would change the way I lived my life, I would've called them crazy. Turns out when I was 19 I didn't actually know everything... Who knew lol.

I had zero Self-confidence growing up. Once I went to college I figured, "No one knows me here, it's a fresh start" and made myself talk to people, go place, and essentially pretend I had confidence. Over time I want pretending anymore, I just became that person. It definitely got me dates and jobs that I wouldn't have gotten before. Funny enough we just watched a movie last night that pretty much talks about people faking confidence, called Hit Man.

Having the hindsight of how things now are today.. Things then seem so creative. It didn't matter if it was a small company or something or a big company, they both used to put the same amount of effort into trying to at least make what they are doing interesting because they understood the people aren't gonna be interested unless they did or made something interesting or creative. Why even buy into anyone else's lifestyle, just be you, you want to change, do it, it's not that hard but these people make it seem like it's so difficult. Back in the day this was called HARD WORK, they didn't gloat about it. The problem is that there is always someone out there that will buy this course.

Had me on board until the "back in the day" part. The rest is valid though. Hard work has always been hard. People have ALWAYS looked for shortcuts and cheat codes to success and also the meaning of life, the universe, and everything...which of course is 42.

Lol yeah it's pretty true, the less money you have the more life does f*** you. I'm 28 married I have two little girls two and three and I have congestive heart failure with hypertension cardiomyopathy and an ICD defibrillator. My husband takes care of me and life continuously bends us over and shows us who's the boss so😂🤷🏻 Love you oomp

Husbands like yours are the true alphas. Having a family, health issues and low income is the hard life. My husband cares for me and our daughters. We are in a similar boat. There is so much content targeted to the men who are becoming men and men like our husbands that are manning up that is emasculating and demoralizing. Reminds me of the ads targeted at me that try to guilt, manipulate and shame me into buying products. Hope you and yours are surrounded by loving folks and wholesome moments, that they help you through the f***kery of life.
