Meet the XL Rock Tumbler Barrel Twins!
These are roughly equal to a standard 12lb commercial barrel which sells for about $79 IF you can find them in stock anywhere.
My cost to make these two barrels was: $76.07
2 foot section of schedule 35 6" pipe=$17.79
4 schedule 35 end caps= $41.88 ($10.47 each)
8oz clear PVC cement= $7.45
8oz clear primer= $8.95

    Pleasant surprise something interesting to do with all my grandpa’s big fire stones etc from AZ when I was only 12 years old. Still have about 1/2 of a wheel barrel to do! I had no clue how I was going to approach that until now! Thanks for sharing I learnt sumtin! 👍👍✌

    I did a video after I was all done with the build to see if it would work. The only thing I added were the rumble strips inside the container afterwards. I tumble my metal art for short periods. My container would never hold up to large rocks and long tumbles.

    Hello HoneybeeSVG And The Quilted Bee, thank you for watching and commenting, and so far these bigger barrels have not had a leaking issue and seem to be working fine, that is as long as I don't underload them. The 3lbs. barrels I made though did end up leaking, and badly at that! So with those it's back to the drawing board.
