PLAYTOWN | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

A new mascot horror game has arrived and that of course means we have to archive it! Though games like FNAF made the mascot horror genre popular, it were games like Poppy Playtime and Garten of Banban that emphasized the gameplay aspect with these mascot horror games on overcoming various challenges and mini games.
Playtown takes inspiration from those two titles and the result is pretty interesting. We find ourselves alone at an indoor playground where we need to find three crystals in order to progress. To do this we need to complete and overcome various challenges and puzzles while the dinosaur Steg is trying to eat us.
Though the type of challenges you get to play are mostly familiar territory, its the design of Steg that steals the show. I think Steg is a wonderful designed mascot that is both cute and terrifying and I love that it is a dinosaur. I really love dinosaurs and so I would recommend the developers to continue with dinosaurs as mascots in upcoming parts. There are so many mascot horror games out there, that it can be difficult to stand out amongst the many. Having dinosaurs as the main theme with a mascot horror has not yet been done I believe and so it would be awesome to see new dinosaurs as mascots in the next parts to come.
I hope that with the sequel the challenges will be a bit more original, but overall its a great start and the ending promises some really creepy and eerie things to come! Definitely looking forward to what comes next!

Wow! An indie horror game that takes something nostalgic and aimed towards children and twists it into something dark and creepy? This is a totally new and unique concept that's never been done before!

This game is just satirising recent mascot horror “fan games” not even trying to hide the banban and poppy playtime inspiration. Although the shadings got more effort behind it than banban.

This game is the BADEST game I've ever seen, and of course with VERY LOW graphics so it looks like a cheap game that doesn't balance with its quite expensive price on Steam. Even though this was made with Unreal Engine 5...🙄

I mean, look at the dinosaurs that died in a WEIRD and very STICK way... And GOBB is the same as Playtown.. both are UGLY...Meanwhile Poppy Playtime has very GOOD graphics and has a COMPLEX and reasonable story... So whatever I'm talking about is FACT... And I've played it myself..

@@FlopStanGurls0 their story is different, unlike poppy playtime, we just have to return to the factory of recieving a letter from the staff that thought to have disappeared 10 years ago, while Garten of banbans storyline was that we have to find our child, it seems Garten of banban is bad, I agree with you👌, they speedrun every chapter while the game is not polished, But we hope Garten of banban 7 would be better, if it could take more months to finish, it may release on June, since Garten of banban 4 released on Aug 11, and Garten of banban 3 was released on May 5, so that makes Garten of banban 4 have 3 months time, and Garten of banban 6 released on Dec 20, which it takes 4 months time, so Garten of banban 7 have to takes 5 months time, And playtown is a copy of Garten of banban and poppy playtime, so it is very bad.
