It's like Sony want to make it as inconvenient as possible to use their console. That's partly why I went with Xbox first this time because they make everything work as it should. Saves, correct versions of your games they do it all for you. Sony is the Apple of the video games industry.

Yeah i think this weird update sucks. Why did they half the classics from ps now and refuse to bring them back for this update?

Deathloop I get they probably have to in they contract clearly they can’t now since Microsoft owns Bethesda so that won’t happen but they owns games is weird

I wonder if it has to do with the fact that PS5 exclusives require the Dual Shock controller. Pretty sure they could get over that, though. It just feels like there's very little joined up thinking going on at Sony currently.

I mean it would make sense that they want you to buy a ps5 in order to play the ps5 versions. I know it would be nice to play them on ps4 and pc but they probably want you to buy the new console

So another reason not to subscribe to the service, then? This wouldn’t be such an issue if PS5s were readily available but it isn’t. It’s also another example of how Sony are treating the PC version of PS Plus as an afterthought.

@@JoeChip I’ve personally got the service just so I had some games to play but the whole service is an afterthought to Sony they’ve launched it just so people will stop asking for a gamepass equivalent. Hopefully it gets better though

@@the_mightylicker1944 Yes, as I said in the video, it has tremendous potential. I also had high hopes for it but Sony haven’t made any real effort here. It’s bloody annoying.

Yeah, just a bit. Don't get me wrong, though, there are some things I like about the service. I do think streaming has improved and the game selection is pretty good. I just wish Sony hadn't just engaged in a rebranding exercise and had built a decent service from the ground up with the features we should expect from something like this. Just like PSNow, this feels like a cobbled together afterthought, and that's a real shame.

@@JoeChip Sony have always been a shit in the pan from a network/internet service provider. It boils down to Japan being Japan even though Sony want to be a more western company from a PlayStation subsidiary. Microsoft just wants to do better and Phil has pride in where he wants the Xbox brand to be and go in the future. I mean Xbox 2013 and Xbox 2022 are very different now than what it was then, Hope I’m making sense here? I’ll bet you any money Sony had the Nintendo attitude of we can do this our own way and we haven’t seen what the competition are doing so we don’t give a shit, go fuck yourselves consumers.

PlayStation Now was launched 8 years ago though, how long will it take before Sony sorts the basics.

im a PlayStation user have been for years but this service is junk period it as a handful of good games and that is it game pass knocks it out of the water it feels that sony have been forced to make this service hence the reason its just junk
