I like how even though there is a misunderstanding between both of them, they both stay completely in character.

Issac has seen weirder things so a big muscular bearded man is the least of it. Meanwhile Zeus sees Issac as little more than a mere insect so seeing him in armour with a gun is the least of his concerns.

I always found it interesting they pit Isaac against Zeus specifically, the father of Kratos and one of the strongest Greek gods in existence. Not just because it's Isaac beating the living shit out of Zeus, but for this scene alone. Isaac, in the face of god, can not be bothered to feel anything but pure anger. He's already seen too many people already try to be gods, and now he's seeing a god exists that acts almost the exact same way as them.

Imagine you have died and fucked up by alien who rule the earth and then reincarnated into a fighter in a tournament, and you fight a fucking God after having experience of fighting aliens.

I can understand why Isaac is angry AF.

And so, Isaac Clarke was able to successfully defeat Zeus, forcing him to kneel before him. It seems the highly advanced time and space bending technology of the 26th century, as well as a standard plasma based cutting tool, was too much for the king of gods to handle. Humiliated by the fact he was beaten by a mortal, an engineer to be exact, Zeus had no choice but to answer the questions Isaac had for him. After the exchange of information, Zeus ordered Isaac to end this. However, Isaac isn’t the kind of person to end one’s life in cold blood. Instead of killing him, he spared him. All he really wanted was answers. The two parted ways after that, unknown to ever encounter each other again. It seems Zeus did admire Isaac’s courage and bravery. After all, from what Isaac went through in his universe, it would make sense for him to not give two shits about a god.

@@harvestercommander3250 bro Zeus fought against motherfucking Kratos himself, who's theorically low-complex multiversal, making Zeus logically somewhat near that tier, and he still managed to tank a lot of hits from him. Kratos has infinite overall strength, overall speed, high IQ (since he solved a puzzle not even the gods could) and high battle IQ and combat skills, he also has a insanely op arsenal like: · Blades of Exile and/or Chaos. These can kill gods that can keep up against Kratos. · Boots of Hermes = Infinite speed. · Head of Helios = Light of the sun wich can severely blind someone (or even kill a person, since the light was used on non humans). Btw the light has infinite speed and the Boots of Hermes can dodge the light. · Claws of Hades. These bad boys can literally tear apart someone's soul. · Blade of Olympus. It killed the titans and can kill gods pretty easily. · Other stuff like abilities from the Spartan Rage, Bow of Apollo and Nemean "Cestus" (wich increases Kratos punching intensity). A mortal who is moon level (like you said), is nothing compared to The King of Olympus/(Olympian) Gods.

@@ezequielcortes7934 irrelevant, Isaac had killed a moon, fought against his own delusions, blew up an entire station, and has tools and equipment that can literally bend the very fabric of space and time. And he doesn’t give any shits about gods. To him, Zeus is nothing more than a man in his way with a crazy ego and lightning bolts, which Isaac was able to capture with his kinesis module. Zeus is nothing to him, and he had already defeated him.

​@Kira22558 It means Isaac's head is very damaged. Compared to those in MK who have lost family, friends, etc. He's actually someone whose journey on Ishimura left him traumatized psychologically from that day. He never became free from the Marker's influence and it tore apart any chance of finding new friends, even new love.
