dont forget you also need lighting as bright as the actual sun to make it remove the background proper

Bro I have a question. I have a greenscreen. It's the same like elgato but from another brand. Well if I try to justice my greenscreen it's not like yours full black it's green flickering. I have softboxes enough light. But whatever I do it's flickering. What I'm doing wrong?

I think the settings are the same on the ps4 camera, it let me select the chroma option but I don't have a green screen to test this out.

well it makes sense and it works pretty good but it's not very cosy with that many leds on shining towards you and the screen. Is there nothing like a self illuminated green screen, that would be awesome.

Has anyone else has troubling with their cameras picking up the green color? I bought one of those chair green screen and for some reason the camera doesn’t pick it up well even with a big light keeping it lit? I have a webcam for my pc and I had ibs running which picked up the green screen without a problem so could my ps5 camera be defective?

Yes, one of my viewers had the same problem. He ended up returning the HD camera for a new one & the chair green screen for one with a stand & green screen.

Still doesn't work for me still fuzzy, funny thing is it works on my video editor in the same position with the same lighting but soon as I put it on ps5 cam it's terrible

PS4/camera supports chromakey and so the PS5 with the ps4 camera BUT you need the adapter to be able to plug the ps4 camera to the ps5

my playstation 4 camera had the option to use a green screen to remove background.

The PLaystation 4 camera on the ps4 did a decent job atfake hiding the background, not sure why it wouldnt support chroma key. I can test it though

i have the best lighting on my ps5 camera yet freen screen still shows theres awalys something wrong when im trying to do stuff i fucking swear

If you want to remove your background you will need a green screen. If your camera isn't showing any image, make sure it is connected to the USB ports on the back of the console. Next configure the HD camera settings shown in the video. If nothing works, your camera might be defective. Unfortunately just like the PS5 console some HD camera's sold have defects.

You have no idea how many reviews I watched where people just bash at this camera, saying that the chroma key effect just won't work. So in the end is just a matter of having enough light? It's good to know. Maybe I'll get one of those myself :)

Lighting is definitely the key ingredient for the chroma key to work. Unfortunately some launch day users have had defective HD Camera's right out of the box (camera cutting off after a short period).

Distance can also play a factor, try bringing the camera closer to see if it changes a little.

Try capturing just the green screen without you in the image. If it still doesn't work it might be the green screen isn't getting enough light or the camera is faulty.
