Thank you so much for this. Similar situation when I synced my controlled to a different device and then it would not connect to the original. Like you, I tried every method I could find via the internet and this was the only fix that actually worked. Thank you again. You've saved me from additional hours of searching and frustration.

Normally never do reviews for KZread videos!!! But you knocked it out of the park! I had a old PlayStation and could not get any controller to sync. Deleted all old controllers and blam!! Synced just great! Now works fine.

BROOO!!! AFTER GOING SO MANY FORUMS/REDDIT/PLAYSTATION TROUBLESHOOT/GOOGLE SEARCHES… THIS ONE IS THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEM Instead of using the PS Remote App, I connected my USB Keyboard, applied the necessary steps shown in the video and viola, it works! I was sooo close to slam dunking my controller into the concrete out of frustration. Thank you!

What if you have never connected it via remote play? I cant get it to work because i have to get a number from ps4 settings to go into the app

When I did it, I never setup remote play, that is why I wasn't sure that would work either... What number are you getting? When I did it, I don't remember a number but I had to make sure I was on the same wifi or internet signal and it originally took a bit to find the Playstation so I just left my phone on trying to sync until it finally did...

Man, you're a life saver. I tried to control the settings using a keyboard and it also worked.

This guy is a legend he is the only person that actually found a 100% legit way to solve this problem mad respect to this man.

FORGET the other videos with the USB connection stuff and the reset button on the controller, THIS IS THE WAY. Had been using my only controller on my PC with ds4 windows and this was the only way to reconnect it to my ps4. Thank you!

This is the exact issue i had after connecting my controller to my PC and this is the only guide i found that helped

Yes! It finally works thanks to you. If it's not working for anyone just after you've clicked forget the device and you tried resetting it I recommend that you plug in your controller to you console then once you have plugged it in try resetting it again may also take more then one try so be patient. Hope this helps, good luck!

Works like a charm! And it's the only video on the subject that works also. The only thing that he forgot to mention and I'll save you guys some headaches because I did everything he said step by step and it didn't work until I reset the controller first. So make sure you guys reset the controller and then just follow his steps to the t and you'll be Gucci!!!🙂
