I’ve never heard of anyone doing toy rotation before! I actually like that! That way they can get a chance to play with all the toys, even the ones they forgot all about!

It’s so smart to have them go through and donate toys. I feel like with kids, they play with toys for a limited time and move on. Except for the special ones they play with all the time. I’m glad they helped you declutter!

Oh my- I do not miss the days of having young children’s toys everywhere. I felt like it was so hard to keep it all clean. Then as soon as I finally got it cleaned they would destroy it in a few days again. It’s a never ending job. Your finished room looked amazing- great job!! You should put a ton of shelving in that closet so most of the toys can be put up in there. That would open up their play space more too. The boys were so good about giving up their toys. My girls were always wanting to keep everything and not give any of it up- lol.

It's always helpful to keep order. My children have been an essential part of my need for organization. We've been working as a team. I really enjoyed watching your process.

I totally agree with the toys. My nieces used to have so many toys. I would always say how do you even know what you want to play with as you have so much stuff. So that is great you went through the toys and will donate what you can and properly discard the others.

Wow this was so much work, good for you for getting it done in such a short period of time! I've been watching so many decluttering and cleaning videos and definitely have been starting to spring clean a bit, I need to be more on top of my decluttering. The rotation method you did is a little like what I do with my clothes lol (or what naturally happens as things get stuck in the hamper for awhile before I have a hole load of gentle cycle etc!)

I’m really in need of a good carpet cleaner, I’m sure my carpet water looks disgusting. This happen to me all the time when I clean my son’s toys, he start playing with toys that he totally forgot about or haven’t seen in a while because it’s so many toys. I think I need to get rid of toys that he don’t play with, to help get rid of clutter.
