That’s awesome that make me feel like I’m a 7 year old kid watching the ghostbusters in 1984 😎🎥 it never gets old!!!!

My daughter and I have dropped Ecto 1 and the Mystery Machine a few times where parts went flying and we thought they were destroyed for sure, but the worst that happened was a tiny chip to a tail light. The DeLorean is a lot of fun too, especially with the Back to the Future advent calendars.

Love this sort of video. You said two things in particular that I enjoyed hearing. 1) "I don't need to own all the toys" and 2) "I think it's good that kids build their toys". 1) Michael it is SO important that you keep reminding yourself and your viewers about budgeting correctly, bills first, toys last. Thank you for not preaching but just talking openly like tou do. 2) I remember building GI Joe kits and figuring out when to put stickers on and what missiles could "fly" off. It's just part of the toy ritual, and allows a greater understanding about the toy and maybe even creates more appreciation for the toy too. Thanks Michael, keep going sir!

The details on that Ecto-1 are incredible for a Playmobil toy.

Those small stickers I’ve been using tweezers to help keep my fingers out of the way. Lego has that orange tool that helps remove bricks and apply stickers. That thing looks pretty darn cool! I had no ideal Playmobil was like Bandai model kits.

One tip for placing stickers on harder to reach places is making the surface you put it on wet with a little brush. You'll be able to move the sticker around for a while. Note that it depends on the sticker "paper" and glue they used _(Use unused parts of the sticker sheet to test it)_

This is very cool! I have seen the Star Trek Enterprise made by Playmobil and it is loaded with many play features. This version of Ecto 1A is quite impressive. It was a nice touch to see it being built with a passion for the Ghostbusters.

Not really a huge fan of Ghostbusters but this was actually pretty cool to watch you put this together. Must be the quality of your videos and your commentary. Pretty good 👍

Mega Construx figures could work well. They look okay with the Playmobil Enterprise. I know here are Star Trek figs, but you might have to customize for Ghostbusters. Luckily they pop apart, and there are LOTS of properties to choose parts from.

This Playmobil Cars are awesome. I already have the Ecto-1 from the first Movie, the DeLorean, KITT and the James Bond Aston Martin (the A-Team Van and the Mistery Machine are coming soon). I also bought the Ghostbusters Headquarters and a view other Packs like the Marshmallow Man or Slimer with a Hot Dog Stand. I don´t have Kids on my own but my Nieces and Nephew are playing the hell out of it. They realy love it.

Grew up with the Kenner toys, and I love them to this day… but one can’t allow nostalgia to cloud objectivity. Playmobil’s Ghostbusters line is superior. Regardless of how you feel about the figures, the level of design detail, durability and playability within the set is unrivaled. I know you said you were done with Playmobil, but trust me, complete the set-the Firehouse & figure packs, all of which can be purchased for under or around $200-and you won’t be disappointed. It’s a phenomenal display.

You said it, Playmobil nails the vehicle sets. I wonder if the Ghostbusters reaction figures might work? I think they're at 3.75 inches

I don't think there are any. Did a search and it looks like it's one of the few franchises that hasn't gotten the ReAction treatment. If they ever do get made, they still wouldn't fit inside but they'd scale perfectly standing beside it.

I just use tweezers when applying stickers. :)

This is 100 times better than to lego one and cheaper!

Team ghostbusters

Am i the only one who has a problem with a proton pack? one of them, is good, the black part doesn't fall off and doesnt move. The other one, the black part moves and its so annoying... i tried switching them and i realized the problem is the beige piece. any ideas?

why is it bigger but seem shorter

I got a playmobil enterprise and crewed it (blasphemy) Star Wars mission fleet figures. They fit size wize but probably wouldn't work for an Ecto lol.

Fortnite Legendary Micro Series figures might work. They are also 2.5 inch scale and you might find some characters that look... ghost buster-y
