They should have made this line in the modern six or seven inch scale. As well as include extra hands for when he's not holding the phaser.
This is the best uniform of them all in my opinion. This figure is an improvement on the Generations Kirk in terms of articulation but not in likeness. It's better than the TNG offerings but not by much.

Shame Diamond Select didn't do a 7" Kirk in this uniform like they did with the original series. That figure was superb and really looked like Shatner. I wouldn't call this Kirk a "collectable" or worthy of display. Just looks really cheap, the headsculpt is really bad and the oversized accessories are absolute bargain bin rubbish. Would little kids who play with figures these days know who Kirk is/was??
