One of the ways I deal with the rubble is by blocking the dinos from their trees, either by putting them (the trees) on an island surrounded by water or by surrounding them with a wall of rocks. It might not look as good, but the animals would be happier.

You don't need double fences at all, just the right kind of fence. But you can't let electric fences right besides the road or else your guests will touch them and get electrified. That's why you leave them at least one square away from each other.

Was a blast watching the video and reading others' advice! We never thought of using water to guard the plants & boost the fences when we played way back when. We just got so annoyed with the mammoths we "paired them" with the saber tooth cats. Normally we didn't do battle royales so it was striking to us that the cats definitely had happy faces when the mammoths arrived...

Pro tip: if you use the cliff tool to make your dinosaur exhibits at least 2 levels deep, then they will never be able to escape and your guests can still observe them, even if you use the weak, low fences. Your scientists will still be able to enter and exit the exhibits, so no need to build hill ramps for the exhibit gates (that will actually let the dinosaurs escape lol)

So dino digs basics one scientist can cover three exhibits easily and that can save you money if you build three exibits close to each other Dinos need strong fencing but can change with each animal big predators T-Rex, Allosaurus, Spinosaurus all need the Electric Iron bar Big herbivores like the Apatosaurus also need the above med herbivores can get away with the reinforced iron bar smaller predators need the eclectic fence ones One tip if you have a predator that keeps escaping you can take the exhibit and drop it 2 levels that will keep them from breaking out also many dinos need exhisbits that are 20x10 and 25x20 in some cases to be happy like zoo tycoon and marine mania use paths 2-3 squares wide that way your guests have more room which makes them happier and they spend more time and thus more money yeah rubbles a pain because the dinos do stomp on them one way to do it is to cluster them around small points that you cna easlly clean up the jungle rock formations make a great wall if you use them to surround a cage on one side the puking sound is what happens when a guest sees lots of DIno poop which the scientists have to clean up also on that not like zoo tycoon one of the BEST buildings is the compost building which can take your dino and animal poo and turn it into money For exhibits use the walls that can save you money and the walls are unbreakable and yes male and female Dinos will copulate and give birth they lay eggs and the scientists have to heal and hatch them lastly a DINO NEST team is important to have you cna hire them and theylll helicoptor out and sedate escaped dinos letting you return them to their cages after repairs thats all i can think of for the moment have fun with the kiddies 😸

My stratagy for this pack was to build a pit enclosure rather than relying on the electric fence and also to use rocks and water to form a barrier between the dinosaurs and the plants. The additional advantage of this is the guests can see the dinosaurs easily even in an oversize exhibit.

Dusting this game off after almost 20 years, I picked up a couple tricks Put foliage last for dinosaurs. They'll trample it if they're angry but much less if they're happy. Surround your dinosaur exhibits with a 1x1 row of water and you can use any fence even if it degrades. Saves a ton of money and looks better.

I thonk the Allosaurus kept breaking out bc the enclosure was too small (as you noticed they do grow quite big) The rubble thing is suoer annoying and the main reason I don't like Dinosaur Digs as much as .arine Mania. It would've been better if scientists were able to remove rubble themselves. Despite that, it's still a fun experience, esp with the eggs, like you said. (Btw you looked adorable in that costume)

Hardest to survive huh? Funny I never had a single dinosaur manage to escape. Not even my T-Rex. Here's a hint. For allosaurus and other large predators use the strongest electric fence available. And make sure to meet their requirements perfectly. For mid sized and small predators you can use smaller fences. Just be sure to keep their size in mind. With that being said. Don't start with a large predators. Choose something safer in the start.

I still own the discs. Otherwise, because the game is abandoned, you can go to Google and search: Zoo Tycoon 2001 ROM download. Because the game is abandoned, doing it this way is deemed 'ok'. If it was available for purchase, I'd say go and purchase it. Once you download the file safely from a source you deem trustworthy, you can open the file, it should be a .iso file. If you have Windows 10, it should open up the contents of the .iso file, you'll find all the Zoo Tycoon files inside. All you have to do at that point is find the Autorun.exe or find the ZooTycoon.exe file and installs just fine! This is assuming you have Windows 10. Hopefully this helps!

My logic was that me personally, I hate it when KZreadrs ask verbally every single upload, "pLeAsE sUbScRiBe" or "bE sUrE tO fOlLoW mE" type of thing. You'll notice, at least as of late, I dont verbally ask anyone. Its to save time, but for new viewers, the visual is there and I trust they can put the pieces together and sub if they want to, if that makes sense. And if I do ask, Im always sure to ask in a unique way, ie: subscribosaurus. So my solution was to have the visuals there, like the shirt or the 'follow me on' but if you already have subscribed or did not care to follow me, you could tune it out and focus on the content without being verbally disrupted and taking up one's time. Honestly your feedback is great and honest, I hope you give me another try down the road, Im aiming to improve as time goes on so things will continue to get better. I appreciate you and thanks for giving my stuff a shot!
