Thanks for demoing all of these amps! They are fantastic sounding, so much so I can’t say what is my preference. Each does it’s own thing so well. I do love the Dover & Omega’s simplicity. Definitely please keep doing these videos when you can; it’s super helpful for purchasing, especially hearing at room volume. I’d love to hear your Mini Nightmare! I love mine. You’d approve of the blue shell and aqua stained front. Thanks again!

Doesn't honestly sound that loud. You can still hear the string noise, and his voice sounds as loud as the guitar.

I put 6550’s in one of my invectives, and it tightened up on the bottom end and note clarity is way better… but the machine is still a fire breathing dragon

You need to try out a Suhr PT100.... Its a monster that can do basically everything tone wise I have ever needed.

Ugh, that noise the Invective was making...I have a H&K Grandmeister Deluxe that does the same thing, started sporadic now always does it. I swapped out preamp AND power tubes, didn't fix it. Now I have to go down the route of amp repair.

Drunkbag I’d love to hear his too. I think I’ve only seen one video of him using it. I have a custom Mini Nightmare with every bell and whistle they offer, KT88 loaded. It’s a monster and literally does everything. Looks super cool too!

Personally, I feel the Omega sounds almost like a modded EVH 5153. I have the Omega plugin and the actual EVH, put them back to back, and idk. They sounded similar to me.

Since the noise the Invective was making didn't change when you changed the channel you may be right that it's power tubes or somewhere in the power section.

I have the Invective and I love the amp but I feel like it has high-end from hell that I can't dial out out. If I cut down the highs and presence it's sounds muffled but when turn it up it seems like it has so much. I just can't find a good middle ground. I have a Precision Drive and I play it through an Orange 4x12 with V30's and an EVH 5153 4x12 with stock EVH speakers. Any tips for dialing it in a little better?

Same problem with every 5150 I've ever played. Its not a pleasant frequency and nomatter what you just can't dial it out. Went engl and bogner and never turned a 5150 on again. Such a shame too because the rest of that amps voicing is brootal.

@@jamiecook4289 I actually found the biggest issue was the cab. I had an EVH 5153 4x12. I then got an Orange 4x12 and the issue almost disappeared. Just had to EQ it to my liking after that. I just ordered a Mesa 4x12 so we will see how it sounds through that next week.
