I was properly getting creeped out by the foggy old graphics by the end of the video lol but did feel a lot of nostalgia for this era of Minecraft when I was out and could only play on mobile. 4:04 small correction, the blue rose is still to this day available in minecraft pi edition as pi never got any additional updates, still great video regardless!

The reason for the Cyan Flower was due to a technical limitation on older mobile devices not being able to render the colour of the Rose. The Red Mushroom was even used as the Red Dye recipe when dye was added.

@@G_Fantastic Jeb stated that the reason was a hardware issue. I have no idea how though. Since red items like Mushrooms, Red Wool, etc. existed at the time. Maybe the devices they used for playtesting was unable to render the Rose.

The first version of MC I ever played (the demo version of this was, technically). This is so nostalgic...

The cyan rose was actually not just in older versions of PE, but also was in the Raspberry Pi version of the game.

I remember this version every day I returned from school and play that it was so good and I loved it so much i Remember building an obsidian house which i guess everyone were doing with diamond i just really liked obsidian

me too, back then I thought it would be impossible to have pocket edition catch up to PC with features and now they're both on the newest update it's crazy how far this edition has come

Nice video! I was playing v0.1.1 alpha last year and it is very interesting to see how much the game has evolved since then.

They probably didn't include every wool color because phones back them mostly only had 4 or 8 GBs of storage. And they didn't want minecraft to be too big

Brings back memories of myself to think I used to build gaint boxes with Mossy Cobblestone, now straight up fantasy and medieval Build's.

Minecraft PE was the first version of the game I played. I put many many hours into it. I wish I could get my old world back.

I did the same thing last month and play the old mcpe,too bad the game constantly close down, probably because it was made only for the older android versions. 0.7.0 is playable,it works well but still glitches. i download the 0.9.0 version and was able to make and activate the nether reactor core which is great! Nice video btw!

5:42 It is the same like in old Minecraft, the texture on screen is from 1.14 and up. The PE texture was used from Alpha 1.2.0 to 1.14

my first experience was pocket edition on my android phone, i remember my first world, building the dirt hut and being terrified cause i could hear zombies around me

i remember playing this when i was 6 or 7 and I used to play the lite version. played it with my sister who was 4 and we played on wifi

My brother and I used to play with the old mcpe every day such good memories😊

I remember some point on pocket edition. You would create a world and if you didn't make a copy of it there was a chance you enter your world and all you'll see is a white screen and whatever item your holding.. acter time it was fixed luckily.

THE UBRUPT END! I remember pocket having that. Vaguely. I would play Creative and just build stuff, spawn mobs, and make a volcano. Me and my brother played together. Or rather we took turns.

When i was little my cousin have this old version of mcpe. And i use shareit to get it on iphone

I believe alpha 0.1.0 was only available for the Xperia Play and that didn’t go anywhere I guess

The poppy took the rose if you place one then update you will get the poppy so they may need to separate them first lol

I played Minecraft since 2011, over half my life.

Modern bedrock looks way different. This minecraft version looks a lot more like Java.

I love old mc, but i dont like this version, i feel lonely bc there is no mobs and everything, youre the only one playing the world.

Minecraft versions before about 1.17 use the same directory as the version you are currently playing, "games".
