Double dribble was my game. Wait til you go for a dunk and then get a cut scene of getting you dunk blocked. I’m 40 years old and that was my 2k. It’s a trick of shooting and rarely moss

I was on line (not online...on an actual line) on September 9th 1999 @ “EB Games” to pick up my Dreamcast along with my copy of NBA 2K. As CRAZY as it looks now, I was completely blown away by the game when I played it. Live was still king of the hill but I immediately recognized the potential of the 2K series mainly due to the “animations” and presentation. Great throwback video. Things like this make u so appreciate what we have today. 2K is far from perfect but when u know (and experienced in my case) what it’s done and how far it’s come since it’s infancy, I really just try to appreciate what we have as opposed to constantly nitpicking. Again, appreciate the nostalgia bro.
