@@giovanni848 The whole game took about 5 minutes (FNG's setting) to finish instead of 5 minutes to finish one half.

I play this game to this day, obviously with the patch. PES 4 and 5 are excellent as well!!

This is the only football game before 2012 I actually still play. It's fantastic once you train Foque and Jaric. Foque with goals from 40 yards out, and Jaric with free kicks and corner kicks. This game just gives me incredible satisfaction when scoring a goal.

Ball physics is just as good as FIFA 19. If you've hit the ball first-time just before hitting the ground, it'll be a dipping shot. I've also accidently hit a few rising shots!! I tell you, this game nailed long shots to a T. I've played FIFA since 2008, this game's better than every FIFA before FIFA 13 and PES 08 and 09 felt like a huge downgrade, PES 10 took it to the right path

In the pes 6 edit mode you are even allowed to put your own text onto a kit, so if you wanted to you could put FNG or ONEFOOTBALL onto the home kit of Lancashire Athletic (Wigan)

Yo Niran, you need to play This is Football 2005, that game was the absolute bomb. First off, there was diving and intentional fouls that were instant red cards if it came off but had a high chance of injury. Second, the manager career legitimately started out with you as manager of a school team, with players whose overalls were like 9-11 and you could take them all the way to the prem (as a manager of an actual club). Third, the player creator was insanely detailed which juxtaposed against the PS2 graphics is just brilliant, seriously man you've gotta play it.

i always get confused when people talk about This Is Football because I'd never heard of it before, but you talking about the school teams reminded me of World Tour Soccer. Turns out, stateside it was released under a different name. They're the same game.

I remember playing master league in PES 5 and using most of my money to buy Samual Eto,so i had to buy cheap Japanese players as Centre backs. Eto kicked 80 goals that season and dragged the team to a cup. The Japanese centre backs leaked a lot of goals.

Played PES 2009 last week. It feels less programmed than PES 2020 and Fifa 20. It feels so natural.

I was at the high school when this game was released. Just for the Master League mod I created a team including me and my friends from school. I created them based on their looks, game positions and skills. I played that mode for 4 years in real time. It was my most enjoying memory in all football games I played. I miss those days.

I have probably played over a thousand matches with this game, the master league is pretty hard if you start with all fake players, but if you can get a couple good players on the transfer market, you can easily get promoted and win trophies.

08 was shite, the worst game ever. 9&10 was poor. 11&12 was good, 13 was awesome. 14 could've been great, but broken and unfinished. 15 & 16 was good, 17-19 is amazing. PES 19 is the best PES/football game ever released, i can say without a doubt

This game had a massive influence on the FIFA series as after this game the EA developer was inspired the gameplay style of PES 6 that enabled them to create their own engine for FIFA thus we saw a golden era of their games during the PS3 generation of consoles.

I finished top of league 2 with this team so many times back in the day.
