PLAYING OUTSIDE: CONCEPTS
Музыка
Hey ya'll thought I'd do a lesson on a few concepts I use to play outside. There are a few beginner friendly ideas, and a few more advanced ideas (the altered stuff). Just a note, with sidestepping, you can use your A dorian (G Major scale) and sidestep up and down with that too. I hope you guys find this useful. Sorry for the quick cuts, I'm pretty terrible at speaking.

One of the better videos I've seen on this topic
Educational, clear explanation, and excellent demonstration on the guitar… Bravo… 🎉
Clearest explanation of outside playing I’ve run across. Greatly appreciated!
Thanks. Great lession. One of my favorite guitar players.
One of the most underrated players on youtube! How can you be so good and have less than 700 subs!? Thanks so much for this video, love it!

Great info. Thank you sir. Love your playing!! One additional thing I like to do on the E7alt is use the Dominant Pentatonic 1 2 3 5 b7 off of Bb and C....

Who makes that guitar? Excellent work as well!! Thanks
Man this sound so great, trting to get this stuff going more in my playing, what gauge string are you using? Finding some of this stuff tricky on 11s atm, are you getting overdrive from a pedal or your computer/plugins?

Man sorry, I don't quite remember what I'm using here. It sounds like it might be my Fractal Ax8 though
more lessons! maybe something on legato/phrasing?

For legato, I highly recommend checking out Tom Quayle's or Tim Miller's tutorials as they can explain mechanics much better than I! I also like Simon Peter King's "A little lesson on phrasing". It's humorous and is a short concise explanation on what makes good phrasing. I'll see if I have time to add some additional lessons on different types of phrasing though.
