This deck's a monster.

Just a thought but would Bitter Triumph possibly be better than Infernal Grasp to be able to hit Planeswalkers? With the lifelink and extra card draw the 1 additional life or discard a card additional cost seems small compared to the extra versatility.

Swayze, you’re amazing - keep up the great work! In case you want to know, the sch in schooner is pronounced sk, so it sounds like skooner. Otherwise you sound like a landlubber! 😂

Didn't have 4 copies of Schooner, so I switched in one copy of Mindlink Mech. Turns out it's a sick combo with aclazotz (also with bat!)

Run very similar but run mindlink mech and bitter triumph is possible to do lethal by turn 4

To please the algorithm, this Aussie might have to pour himself a schooner of beer. Edit: Also, this has given me some great ideas to make the Mishra deck I've been running a little more consistent. I'll add the bats and some bloodletters and drop a couple roaming thrones and something else and that should help get the last couple points I'm occasionally short on through. Other than occasionally falling short with the damage, it has been doing surprisingly well on the ladder so far (when I get time to play that is, darn kids...) Edit 2: For the curious name Phyrexian with the Throne to double the meld, sheoldred and gix triggers. Also, the beer tastes great 👍 🍺

What's a shooner?

Would be cool to see you work in different formats. Too bad it's an expensive jump from standard to explorer mainly due to shocklands. At least with brawl you only need 1 copy.

Agreed. Wait till attackers are declared then it doesn't matter if the schooner gets activated in response.

Put Mindlink Mech in this deck. 16 damage on turn 4 if you play and crew with bloodletter.

This deck looks evil, I hate the bats so I might switch them out

I just go it by 20 by a Picnic Ruiner + Audacity + Monstrous Rage + Giant Growth. Lost on oppo on the play turn 3. No wonder why people are running dozen of removals or sweepers nowadays.

If you were running go for the throat you would’ve won against mono red, the -2 life really hurts in that matchup

Got whooped by this. They were using Mindlink Mech though which was pretty cool I thought.

Mindlink Mech's a beast in this build.

you can plus Jace with no creatures on board, so you didn't "give them the ability to do so" @12:30

Swayze we all love you, but please fix your pronunciation of some of the cards. It is not a shooner is is a schooner(skooner), just like school(skool) not shool. Stay great!
