I'm surprised that they even made 11 for PS2 when in 2006 we had Madden for the Xbox 360. Huge commitment back in the day. That was like 5-6 years into a new console.

I just got 08 for the ps2 so much fun next To the ps3 09 version.

4:48 This defensive end caused all kinds of problems on that play. You have to keep an eye on this guy especially during passing situations, because he does a great job of getting to the quarterback, as we saw right there.

Add a chip blocker such as a TE/RB or both plus can use slide protection. He just ragdolled him in the trenches there (Marcell Dareus, who had a defensive score in the previous national title game vs TEX)

Love this game! Might be our favorite of the bunch and dropped 100 pts in 3 min qtrs on Heisman mode

10 or 11 came out with the halfback joystick moves. Whatever you wanna call it. It was only in a few ncaa games and taken out. The OG running back truck and juke moves breaking 5 tackles per play 😂👌🏻

Put your settings on hiesman play with a less desirable team like la tech a couple seasons then take another power five coaching job you will get good quick. Set your custom schedule to play top 5 opponent's highest ranking to lowest and as you knock teams off you will continue to knock off high ranked teams which will catapult you in rank. If you play with Notre Dame you can pick every opponent on your schedule as they are an independent. For stats play a team from acc big 12 and sec you will have an extra game on your schedule for stats.

ive done that for years....independent took over for amry build my own program and have won 4 of 5 titles, got pimped by the BCS one year despite scoring 90 ppg

Ps3 looked better but ps2 for some reason game play felt real and smoother

they do....depends what level you play on? i see 5+ penalities a game in 3 min qtrs which is actually too many penalties so funny you say they dont call any. I get 1 roughing the passer/offside call a game and probably 5 holding calls that I will decline on defense, get some on myself too.

Playing as Ohio State! That's the way to go!

prob heisman but if its standard then Varsity level. I play Heisman mode, 3 min qtrs and can run no-huddles and score 100 pts if i have a good game. Most play 5 min it seems

I dont think there's any different features and this ones probably technically better just because it was newer. Idk, the ps3 version of 11 was pretty good with the introduction of the locomotion system. As far as I can tell though, ps2 06-11 is essentially the same game
