I also want to mention that you can learn skills/spells via espers and materia so thst is another way to set up a team that can complete the extra missions in dungeons easily.

Thats a great idea! To be honest I skipped them at first to go through the story quickly. But I want to go back to them all eventually, I'll have to make a video about that and unlocking Bahamut, or explorations in general.

To add to the star quartz / fat chocobo bit. Make sure you buy the genji shield and safety bit from the chocobos that sell them. Those are 2 of only 3 null death items in the game. The other is an STMR of a limited time unit so make sure you pick them up, they don't do much else but their value cannot be overstated!

Magitek Warrior Terra is the one with limit burst at the first turn of every battle, she uses magic, has fire, ice and thunder element so i always use her for the missions

Nice video! I loved season 1. Season 2 was really entertaining as well. Season 3 is not quite as interesting, in my opinion, but it's still good. I'm glad you're liking the game. I was actually really happy that wotv pulled in the Veritas of light and I'm hoping we get to see more characters from ffbe.

Also, I usually have a problem with *"kill **___** using black magic"* quests, but learned how to deal with them. First off, the spells have to be *black magic.* There is a difference between _specials_ and *magic.* This also goes with white magic, you have to use magic that heals under the magic tab (seen on the unit page) instead of _specials_ to accomplish it. Next is killing enemies if you don't have the fire power with a specific move such as espers and black magic. You can actually use other moves to kill while you have another unit use the move to do the quest, wether it's an esper or lb.

Yes! Thank you for commenting this, I also had this problem. Using Terra's magic wasn't actually considered Black Magic and I was so confused at first until I noticed the magic icons.

Holy for white magic and ultima for black magic are both very slow spells and are easy to use to get the last hit or "kill" with missions. You can check on the wiki to see which units have these spells easily, the wiki is pretty good. If you guys have Kryla (christmas unit) she can cast all the elemental elements(not holy or black magic) like earth/wind/lighting/water/ice/fire/dark/light etc

I tried this game just to know more about the lore of the FFBE characters like Rain, laswell, fina, etc. But oh boy, I couldn't even get past chapter 2 :') I guess this game is just not my cup of tea afterall. And here's hoping you'd do some sort of lore summary sometime in the future XD

I had to try this game 3 times before it stuck! I do want to do lore videos, but I have trouble starting them. I have this lofty vision of how I want to do them and I never feel like I have enough time to work on it. I also really want to know my stuff before I start.

Bluestacks! And I install the game via the amazon appstore to avoid a bug

Terra being the only unit that starts with full evoke bar. So yes she is great but it’s not going to be advice that I think some new players will be able to follow

@@NathanWubs It's very difficult to make a video that stays accurate through an entire year, but I stand by this particular advice. Aside from NV Terra there is also Oracle Maiden Lunafreya that gives you an instant evocation gauge. I do see plenty of both these units on my friends list. Another solution is to ask on the reddit thread for people with these units to add you, often they can set up a slot to help you out. If you hop on my discord there are lots of players that could help with this, myself included :) My ID is 627,067,938 if you need a Terra.

I love this game but it just refuses to stay open on BlueStacks, and I can't state at my phone for more than an hour :(

Are you playing on the Google Play Store version by any chance? I had the same issue and downloading the Amazon App store version of FFBE on Bluestacks solved all my problems.

@@mysidia I am using the Google play version yes. The lapis pools are not shared between the two versions iirc, if that's the case I *think* I could just use mobile when I want to collect mail/rewards? I appreciate the response btw

I miss this game however when it started to really become a P2W game (the point when using the borrowed party member that is a P2W player is not enough anymore) I stopped mid of season 2. Also, I really can't one on one anymore the optional bosses beyond the robot boss thing (forgot it's name) and there's really way too much adding up.

I miss the innocence of being a new player :(

I use bluestacks but the secret is you need to use the Amazon Appstore version of FFBE. The playstore version has crashing issues on emulator.
