Reminds me of when I played for my school. We started the Headbangers Club. I was the only girl. I wanted to play for the Multicultural...(I forgot what it was called) event, so I took my friends & talked to the principal about music... rock n roll, metal, grunge, & hip hop are all a part of American Culture and like that, we were on the bill along with like a dozen other cultural clubs including a swing dance club, lol. We had 3 performaces in 1 day. One in the AM, one in the Afternoon & one in the evening for the parents & families. My band and I all dressed up to represent different decades of style, I got 70s. We opened with Aerosmith's Walk this Way with the Run-DMC part and we had guests appearances to do vocals, one was a girl from choir and the quarterback of the school and my fellow bandmate that played trombone to rap. But it was awsome to have my band play a medley of alternative, grunge, nu metal, death metal & such. I cant remember all we played but an old schoolmate has a video of the whole day. This was in 2005. Great memories. I had a small fanclub in those days 😅.

It's not talent! You dedicate hours upon hours on this craft whether it's drums bass vox or guitar.

It's easy to label these people as "talented", in my eyes, talent doesn't exist, it's just a case of how hard you're willing to hustle and work for something. With the talented mindset you put yourself at some sort of false-made disadvantage, which you don't have, work on something hard, you will see results.
