Awesome interview. Tim seems like such a genuine and cool guy. Im like Vic as i get stuck on adventure games and would need a walkthrough to beat them, but i love the art, writing and world of their games.

Can't wait to finally play this game. It's always been on my list, but I've never been able to run it because it was too old. I tried running Grim Fandango years before the remaster was released and had a decent time until the underwater setting near the end, which crashed the game every time. Love the guys at Double Fine and EP. Keep up the great work.

noticed the cleaning up on hoagie's voice i wasn't big on. otherwise amazing(would be nice if the maniac mansion in it was tuned up too :P) and as i'm typing this my one son is moving off playing broken age right now because his brother wants a turn playing it :)

so awesome to see this as i played this game in 93 from CD and like the interviewer i am hopeless at puzzle games but this is so many memories and also have the oddworld pack as well from GOG and memories there as well but who doesn't love Hogies voice such a crack up this game is.

I will definitely give Day Of The Tentacle, Grim Fandago, Broken Age, and Psychonauts a try but Brutal Legend is what opened a place for Double Fine in my heart so a sequel would be amazing!!!

I actually missed playing this back in the day but I loved Maniac Mansion, so looking forward to playing this one soon!

well I am german but I played the original, is a cult game.And I heard the guys who rate games in germany and films they have thousands and thousands of games on the shelf and gamers asked the chief what is your favorite game and he said its DAY OF THE TENTAKLE.So seams I was not only the only fan.I think full throttel hope thats spellt right and the guy who died and was stuck gram finango I think and naturaly all the indiana jones adventures aswell the pirats where so much fun.Good old days of the firsts.

For some reason I never really liked Tim Schafer, but the whole ordeal of trying to make and publish Brütal Legend showed me how big a fool I had been. He is a true man in a spineless and evil world.

I want a Brutal Legend 2, sure, but I really wish we would here if there are any plans in the future to remaster non-schafer Lucas games. the only ones that are as finantualy viable probably though are Hit the Road , Curse & Escape. What will likely never happen but I will hold a tiny shred of hope for is DF re-releasing MI:SE with EGA colours & commentary and MI2:SE with commentary from more team members. I almost would,say they should re-do the art to like it is here (straight up tracing) however I LOVE the MI2:SE art and the MI:SE art is... okay (aside from guybrush's sprite... ech that hair ewww!) and those games wer much lower res and lacked distictive outlines. Whatever the case I hope Curse and Escape get released on steam or GOG soon so the entier SCUMM and GrimE library is available online. just incase you dont know; Steam & GOG: Loom (only IBM CD ver.), MI:SE (only IBM CD and HD ver.), MI2:SE, Indy 4, DotT:Re, Throttle:Re (soon!), Dig, Grim:Re. Steam only: Indy 3 (only IBM VGA ver.), GOG only: Zak McKracken (Only IBM 2 and FM-Towns ver.), Sam & Max. Maniac Mansion (Only IBM 2 ver.) They could have done a lot better job of updating the graphics. Looks smudgy. The original was crisp. Heard them say that Chuck Jones was an inspiration for the art style back in the 90s. In my opinion, they should have taken another look at the crisp and sharp contours of a Chuck Jones cartoon character. Seems like they took a short route here at the expense of quality.

Please rename the video to a less click-bait title... "20 minute interview with Tim + some gameplay" would fit it better. I was stupid enough to actually think I was going to get actual 20 minutes gameplay.
