FAQ
Q) Why are there comments from a week ago when this video has just gone live today?
A) Patrons usually have early access to videos. I'll show the first version of a video on Patreon and often the feedback I get results in a video going through further revisions to improve it. e.g. Fix audio issues, clarify points, add extra footage or cut extraneous things out. The video that goes live on youtube is the final version.

Surely the next step is to review old hi-fi equipment while being deaf. Getting old has the benefit of reducing tape hiss even without Dolby noise reduction.
An audiobook-reading of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in multiple chocolate records, one for each chapter. And also with a hard honey-based glaze that won't be so horrifically scratched up while also keeping the chocolate's shape during operation in higher-than-expected temperatures. And yes, add a nice, crunchy inner wafer to the disc to help maintain its structural integrity. Don't forget to refrigerate your chocolate records when you store them! I would recommend a high-efficiency chest freezer.

I find 85% cacao gives the flattest frequency response when played back.
...I can't believe that worked. At all. I'm genuinely impressed in a very... confused way. Well done, FoodIsArt.

Edison's wax cylinders were made of... wax. Chocolate isn't all that different really. It tastes nicer though!
You are looking amazing. You clean up super well and I like the flashy light. This channel is evolving, most stay stagnant after they get famous but you are actively making great yet small changes that add up to something very enjoyable.
that have me genuine chills. astonishing!!!
the vu meter is so beautifully sensitive and accurate, i cant help staring at it

I still enjoy it.
the mrs just asked what I'm doing. "Looking up the hardness of caramel on tinterwebs to see if confectionary based records would have been a viable alternative to shellac"
wow, the first attempt went from a niche treat to a broken beat in just one second.
"Maybe one day, I can play a chocolate record!" - Yeah we all thing about that every day mate.
Holy cow, I had no idea that you were a Type 1. I am too!! It's so cool to know that people you admire and enjoy watching share something like that with you. That really made my day.

@@fl0atpvnk Yes! I'm pretty sure a lack of taste isn't a symptom of being diabetic. I can taste just fine, at least.

How soon we forget that 2019 was pretty damn miserable. Not as bad as 2020, but still terrible.
Surprisingly legible for chocolate. You can actually sing along to it!

We've had flying cars for decades, they're called helicopters. Not sure why people expect cars that fly by magic. The rotors are either going to be on the top, or on the bottom like a hovercar but will need far more energy to fly higher and it's going to disrupt people below it.

Pretty cool. Merry Christmas!
your face when the record actually started playing recognizable music, priceless hahaha. Awesome video as always!
Thank you so much for your splendid Videos, they are so enjoyable. I wish you a merry Christmas as well.
Wow! I was born 1968, diagnosed Sept 1976 (After the hot summer heatwave). Were you brought up with The Ames Rupert Bear book with Sid Syringe. "Never ever rub the spot where Sid Syringe has left his dot". I've been a subscriber for a while. It's always lovely to hear from another member of our very exclusive club!
I hope in the future there will be chocolate computers
I've got to applaud you for not letting your medical conditions get in the way of such incredible content creation. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Really, thank you. You do phenomenal work and are a true inspiration.
