Because like it or not players and referees are co-workers and all boundaries should be respected no matter your feelings. And this doesn't only apply to just women it also applies to male referees as well they don't deserve to be screamed at in their face, chased down the field or need help from other players to stop whatever aggressive action that is going on. Players who behave this way or cross that line should be fine by the team and a portion of that fine should be given to the referee that they disrespected.
