I remember when i first saw him as a rookie. He seemed like such a shy fragile dude. Damn he proved me wrong. Yall need to watch his career retrospective. I consider him the best Power Forward of all time so far. No disrespect to Karl Malone. He earned my respect in the playoffs years ago. He came in with fundamentals but damn he was SO consistent. He was damn near never hurt. He had handles, postup, midrange, athletic as hell. KG's mirror but without the stupid attitude. I was a KG fan when i was younger but that changed. Tim would just go out and crush you. He wouldnt beat his chest and yell. He'll crush you in the paint and he'll get back on D and throw your shot into orbit. I salute you #21. Be blessed.

INDIGNATION 13 tim duncan was better than garnett ( by a whole lot ) in every category in my opinion. Dont get me wrong garnett is a hall of famer, but duncan to me ( him and kobe and shaq by far better than every body else in that generation ) i consider garnett on a dirk level of talent ( and dirk got his ring without a ray allen and paul pierce ) thats also a reason why garnett to me should have had more rings or at least more final appearences the dude had 2 hall of famers who carried franchises before they joined up. Kevin garnett is top 20 player of all time

I am going to take Kevin Garnett over Charles Barkley even as a Suns fan, even tho I didn't watch Barkley in the 90's cuz I was born in '96, but I agree with everything you said... Duncan and the Spurs I hated, but I grew up and realize, same with Kobe, I am going to miss these players including guys like my favorite Steve Nash.

For me there's no better, more loyal franchise in NBA, maybe Warriors are the closest, coached by... Pop assistant and former Spurs player... Tim Duncan was great since 1997 till 2016,he always be great, greatest of all PF and top 3 player in NBA history. I wish to meet him personally... but it will not happen. All-Star, MVP, champion and hall-of-famer, and still criminally underrated. And the one with arguably the most fitting nickname in NBA history. Especially now, when mediocre defense is negated by scoring powerhouses, we could all use more “big fundamentals” on the court.

Not really, he's just too old for the NBA anymore. Maybe if he wasn't a starter for the rest of his career then he could have played 1 or 2 more seasons.
