Hi Rollexx, Good question. I was going to showed that variation. After 30-25 the King jump 31-22, 25-18, 12-16, 8-4 (king). Red now plays 20-24 and will get a new active King, which he will come back and win. White King in the single corner isl stuck and because red still has a strong king row. The variation on the video is a tougher defense but nice going on your part for your idea getting rid of the king or the advantage can help save you in many games. Thank you!

Excellent video. Seems to me that to get good in checkers one must learn good strategy. Could you one day make a video explaining why some opening moves are better than others? I used to move my first checker into a corner and found out that is not a good opening move....why?

The web site "Flyordie" is fairly popular and Playok.com is good with some strong players, you can track your moves there by going to Statistics and check what you did right or wrong at the Playok site was formerly called Kurnik. You can also check "The Checker Maven" site by Mr. Bob Newell. He might have some other sites to go to. Glad to help you out.

No, because after the capture of the white king, the white can inevitably promove to a king another checker in a few moves, and that king will be stronger than the previous one.
