Most excellent!!!! Really loving this...Perfect for when someone breaks out "She stopped loving her today" or some old country crooner song at a jam.

Eli this video is awesome! Tastefully played backup really accents or adds to slow songs or songs of every tempo. It’s such a huge part of playing and I wish every teacher would teach this! Learning the lead parts of songs like I did leaves you out in right field when it comes to playing slow songs in a jam. Killer lesson buddy!

That's great Eli, you've got the taste in music of someone a little more age....which is a tad older than you are ;) So many of todays don't play backup like this. It's almost a lost art it seems.

Hi Eli, I've been thinking of learning banjo. Are the Deering banjos a decent instrument to learn on? I can read music and have played guitar for many years so I feel I can learn banjo if I put the time and effort into it but I want a good instrument to learn on. Thanks.

If Eli doesn't get back to you, yes Deerings are great starters. Highly recommend. You can always sell it, and upgrade too. ✌
