At 0:48 I believe that was the most beautiful sound out of any instrument I’ve ever heard. Whoa. There’s a good .7 second bit of AMAZING. And that’s selling it short! The whole thang was pure. A man that truly is getting to know his instrument like no one else. Pleasure listening and I very much appreciate that you share so much with us. I appreciate ya!

For any one curious, the tuning seems to be open inverted Cm9/13. For anyone curious what the hell that means, its a fancy C minor, with the C on the top instead of the bass.

mind: listen again me: but i listen to it ten times... mind: "do it"
You & Kent Nishimura are so inspiring to me. I've been playing 11yrs and thought i "got" music, but how your brain& his work is..simply beyond me. Like, where is the logic in tunings like this. The scales must be all over the place and yet it doesn't sound forced..as natural as soloing in standard. Wow, I have so much more to learn and that's so exciting. Thank you!
