Love your tutorials when are you going to teach us how to get DS games on Wii U, there’s very few tutorials on KZread for it, and the ones that are on YT fail to explain it as easily understandably as you do your tutorials

One of the biggest reasons why you'd want to use mgba instead of having them native on your system is purely for that fast forward option if you're playing something like pokemon or any other kind of rpg.

A bit late, but mGBA only runs well on the New 3DS models. The New 3DS had a substantially more powerful CPU, and even then mGBA barely runs fine. For old 3DS models (The ones that don't have "New" in the title), mGBA won't ever run well... You can still play GBA games with a VC injector tool, since the 3DS has hidden GBA hardware in it.

Emulation on mGBA is pretty poor on my n3DSXL it would have been great to go over how to setup the config file to get decent performance.

Actually I'm not aware of a way to play it with the gamepad straight from the Wii u menu :( maybe retro arch? But I haven't set that up a sit doesn't work with aroma

If you are on an old 3ds, you can inject gba games as virtual console titles, or use gbarunner2, which both don't use emulation. I use gbarunner2 because it's an easier setup. There is certain games that don't run well, but majority still work fine.

The virtual console has a small variety of gba games so im happy that I found a gba emulator. All we need now is for someone to make a wii, and a wii U emulator.

@qahiko_ After a while I found that a gba injector worked better for me, I was able to get all the games I wanted without any struggle, idk why this videos method made my laptop all fussy but id def recommend the injector route instead :))

@@oscarkontonem6115 i used 7 zip and I'm on windows 11 -first i right clicked -second i chose the open with option -third i clicked extract button -fourth i put the extracted files as shown in the video hope this helped

3ds emulation is best on "new" models, you could always upgrade if that's possible for you :)

GBA emulation is not very good on the 3ds. Some GBA games run fine and some are very slow. 3DS hardware is not very powerful.

Does it have mother 3?

How can you add cheats?

Using this emulator allows you to have more games on your system if you want! But NSUI is also an option of you want it on your home menu :)

it depends on the game, i'd suggest playing gba games from an inject (cia file) on o3ds

On old 3ds XL I get 20-40 fps across the board. Nothing is playable.

After some research it seems the old 3DS isn’t powerful enough to run mgba. This is only for the New versions. Not sure if there’s a work around or not

It's just too slow i'm afraid. I have both a new3ds and an old one and it's too slow on the old one, pretty much unplayable at least for the games i tested.
