Not at all. And platonism is not for those who are just looking for a bunch of interesting notions, it is meant to be felt and desired. It made me realize even more how the most profound of teachings will always be misinterpreted from the very beginning. Nietzsche got greatly misunderstood, and that created world disasters. The same happened with Jesus, and I would dare to say that even his disciples misinterpreted or didn't fully understand his teachings.

Unrelated comment. GR...I'm just now getting up to speed on what I gather is 65% of the drama you have suffered (in my view.) As I don't subscribe to any system or ideology (much less organized religion) or social platforms (unless YT is a social platform) clearly I fell behind the curb by a good hundred miles (so it seems). All said I didn't know anything about everything and what I've learned thus far...foggy image as it may be I'm glad you have taken to save and itemize any threats (overt or banal I'd save them all) and willingness to forward those to the law if needed. No one and I mean NO ONE has a right to harm much less threat another or provoke them into anger. Albeit i'm 100% for self defense. Anyway such a shame your book isn't coming about (as far as I know) all said and done. As mentioned I subscribe to no platform bar truth and historical unfolding's (hence academic of sorts)....everything you have "learned" me you taught well & I am much obliged for. Thank you!! Apologies for the extended rant here as I've no way or idea to reach you otherwise. In closing...take care and always be about your wits end. Don't be paranoid but also don't hesitate to file and report if needed. Thank you for reading. Oh yeah if truth is on your side I'd say you have decent case of defamation on your hands to file. Thing about civil cases is they cost mucho mucho dinero! And rare are the Pro Bonos in that field. Wishing you the best.

I dig the Kybalion. Haven't read it but listened to the audio several times... kzread.info/dash/bejne/la1hyNOrlKbZeZM.html "Do not make the mistake of supposing that the little world you see around you - the Earth, which is a mere grain of dust in the Universe - is the Universe itself. There are millions upon millions of such worlds, and greater. And there are millions of millions of such Universes in existence within the Infinite Mind of THE ALL”

If European society was honest with itself, it would acknowledge that philosophy is essentially a branch of Indo-European Paganism, and that Plato is like a Prophet or Great Reformer archetype (like Muhammad) The West insisted on secularising philosophy so that they could satisfy their cognitive dissonance about wanting to keep it and yet wanting to be Christian. I suppose it's a lesser evil though, as a secularised philosophy is better than none

A while back I got really serious about examining the origins of our modern institutions. This led me to study the 4-6th centuries. I think it's important to realize that the rise of monotheism was a zeitgeist that imo was brought about BY Platonism in a lot of ways. St. Augustine wrote about how he picked christianity over Manichaeism because it was congruent with the works of greek Philosophers. You could definitely posit that Christianity was picked by Constantine because it already had a respectable following and that following was partly due to the fact that it was a part of the monotheistic movement that was on the upswing and that was no doubt influenced by Greek philosophy. The fact that political instability provided an 'in' for a monotheistic establishment to oppose the prior pagan establishment (that was basically propping up failing systems of governance) in Persia, and Armenia, before it happened in the Roman empire to me suggests that Platonism and Christianity were never really opposed and supported one another until Christianity had a need to erase it's roots centuries later.

Don't fall for the Butlerian nonsense. The henads function as both unity and many, but the absolutely first principle itself is prior even to many and unity, entirely ineffable and unparticipated. "Not even the first principle is really one; it is superior to the One, as has often been said. Where, therefore, do we find the One that is altogether one in the strict sense of the term? Well, there is a One which is before Being and which brings Being into existence as its primal cause, while what precedes this One is beyond unity and causality too, maintaining no relation to anything, transcending all things and being unparticipated by them."-Proclus, Theology of Plato

This is accentuated even more in the systems of Iamblichus and Damascius, where the henads are established in a henadic hypostasis, the strictly One, prior to them, and even prior to this hypostasis is the first "One" which is entirely ineffable and unparticipated transcending even unity.
