No wild blackberry jam or wine? Haven't watched all your videos, but if you haven't considered putting out honeybee hive boxes, you should. All the untamed wildflower pollen would work in your favor. They'd also increase the fruit yield from those trees when they start blossoming. You're in an area where overwintering them won't be too challenging. Good luck with the deer. You destroyed their garden so they're going to start going after yours. I know this from experience. 😂 We leave a few acres of wild strawberries, blackberries, grapes, and even a couple apple trees alone out back. The deer planted them decades ago so it keeps them away from most of our garden plantings.

This is a 5 acres piece of property. I've only cleared about an acre which is where the homesite will be. The rest is still wooded.

We are planting watermelon but not in this area. There is currently not a water source and watermelon require a lot of consistent watering.
