My closest neighbours are in their 80s and still taking care of a pig farm. I am sure they could teach me a thing or two.😊

The garden looking beautiful and the garden gonna thrive with that good compost. Remember when all your melons and squash sprout to lay some hay/straw/etc around them and only water the main stem, they don’t like water touching their leaves too much. It’s gonna look lovely when everything pops

A good flower to plant around the different vegetable is velvet flower, aka tagetes, Ταγέτες, it prevents a lot pests to destroy your crops, and it looks nice too

Despina, there is no such as Danish potatoes n so on, almost all potatoes has it Origin in Peru, they have between 3000-5000 different types of tatets, n if I'm not remember wrong, and they have 55 different types of corn that they actively growing, and if I'm not recall wrong they actively growing 800 varieties of the potatoes. Looks like it's time to harvest some dandelion's, the flowers r yummy to fry in real butter....

You know you don't half to plant whole potatoes? You can half them or quarter them.

In Romania, we have that rich black soil naturally, in the fields. Also the climate is milder, now for example our potatoes are big and close to flowering. But unfortunately people don't appreciate, they sell agricultural land and the sharks put solar panels (crime!) or logistic centers with a lot of concrete, or housing complexes. I hope they will wake up before we become Dubai. Do you have this attitude in Latvia?

In Latvia our soil is getting ruined by massive farming. They don't fertilize naturally only with chemicals. But the land is all owned by companies from Germany, Denmark. The solar farms are everywhere!

Yeah every two years you have to switch the field. This is first year in this new field! Then we will rotate it with the vegetables and will be able to use this field for four years! 😊❤️
